Gems For Defensive Wins
Hello fellow clashers,

I've been playing clash of clash for a while now level 125 now, I also play the other SuperCell games and one thing i really like about BombBeach it that you get "gems" for troops you kill on defense. I would really like to see this feature make its way over to ClashOfClans.

So you might say well SuperCell is to greedy to do something like this and you might be true. But what are some of the benefits you could expect from a feature like this.
1. I think by giving more incentive to win defenses other than trophies people might stop farming so much, and could lead to more active players.
2. Alot of times i wont buy gems because i usually only boost my spells witch don't take alot, but if i had more gems i might have more incentive to buy 5 bucks worth or what ever so i could gem my heros done or some builds. As of now everything cost to much and i rather just spend time upgrading rather than money.
3. Less Farmers means you going to need stronger spells heroes and troops to win battles and everyone know cooking troops takes forever so they would be using more gems also.
Anyway just and idea that i would like to see come to light any feedback would be cool...

First farmers are what drive the economy secondly SuperCell needs to make money they arent just going to give everyone gems for winning defenses. This should be straight up Ruled Out

gems have less value in boom beach, since the upgrades are fairly quick they can give them away like that, also you only upgrade one thing at a time rather than several at once so it doesn't make sence to make gems more accessible, remember they are trying to make money

1:First when asking for more free gems it would be best to not throw out terms like "greedy"

2:Even if a gems for defensive win incentive was put it it would be so small that it would hardly effect farming

3:You don't buy gems as is but somehow figure that getting more free will give you a reason to buy suddenly? Think about that for a second. I'll wait for you to catch up.

4:Refer to my second point again. The amount of farmers isn't going to decrease by doing this. And the amount of gems would be insignificant. A few more free boost do exactly what for Supercells business?

Not really If I win a defense with my TH outside I want SuperCell to just give me money....you know what no they should just hire me...or just give me the company

I have a hard time seeing how farmers are what drive the coc's economy other than loot bonus you get for raids wins on snipes witch for me are kinda rare and hard to find depending on rank. Also all the loot they steal ends up getting horded in there storage after another easy snipe.

Just want to add i have nothing against farming its very good stratgy to gather resources from the game and putting your th out is good way to get a cheap shield as you save up for those big upgrades.

As for giving out free gems there all ready doing it, I wouldn't even mind if you only recieved gold and elixir for removing objects other than gem chest. That way the gems you do recieved would be earned and would give you more incentive to upgrade defense troops heroes ect using not only the free gems they already give you but buy also.

Sorry I didn't take more time when drafting this up but yeah why not. I like how you get gems in boom for killing troops not just for defending. Would need to have a cap on daily gems received or something so people coulnt take advantage of it.

OK, that was a low blow. I should be ashamed... but I'm too amused and sleeply to be ashamed of it right now. Maybe later tomorrow after some sleep.
Whoops, gems from your automated defence dispatching enemy units... That's noticeably different. Not sure how exactly to make that work and be balanced. I'd likely cap that max daily limit with how my base has faired verse attacks. Wizard Towers can be such a meat grinder against troops. Scary, yet amusing to watch.

Had one idea of getting a percentage of the Elixir cost of troops your base took out when someone attacks you, in the form of claiming tombstones. But would have to fix up those things to somehow be more reliable in being generated, with various Elixir gains, or just one, if somehow none were normally spawn-able, that could store all the Elixir reward for a good fight, win or lose.
