Cant leave clan when you are in war

Most of us have been there, starting or joining a small clan, super excited for war day, and just before the war starts, some a$$ leaves. This just happened to me this morning 5 hours before war. Guy joined, was our 10th man, demanded we start a war. We said sure, why not, we've been waiting to start a war anyways. Left the clan and immediately joined a new one...... -.- :mad:

My point here is, is that Supercell should make it so the "Leave Clan" button is blocked when you are participating in a clan war. Just how you have to wait 12 hours before sending another clan mail. Hell, even make it so you cant leave a clan for 24-48 hours after you have joined unless you are kicked out. I feel like this would really help the Clan Hopper problem. Some or most of you know my rage.

Im not positive if this has been a thread before, im sure it has been. Just wanna try to get my idea out there haha.:D

Anyways, what do you guys think? Do you think this would really help people from clan hopping and or being trolls and leaving before a war? I know it pi$$ed me off when I got on and saw someone had left 5 hours before war.

Why? What do you think the person who wants to leave is going to do?

1) Repeatedly fill your war castles with goblins/giants/barbs/etc. just to ♥♥♥♥ you off.
2) When the war starts they will instantly waste both of their attacks for 0 stars.
3) While doing this they will fill all troop requests with gobs/wall breakers/etc. just to ♥♥♥♥ everybody off.
4) There is a good chance they will turn your clan chat into an even lower form of communication than global.

Eventually you will either have to boot them or the rest of your clan will leave because you won't stick up for them by booting out the person who is causing all of the trouble. NO GOOD will ever come from forcing somebody to stay in a clan that they don't want to be in.

More importantly you may want to ask yourself this question. If a disruptive player that you don't want in your clan wants to leave your clan, why would you want to force them to stay? What does that say about you?

Nope, that would be unfair to al the guys that go out of the clan and coming back for legitimate reasons.

And it would hurt your clan more to have them stay than it would be for them to leave. If you think about it, they suck already and that won't change. In fact, because they are a jerk they are going to take things up a peg if they are trapped. So you want them out of your face.

Ive said it before and ill continue to say it Clash should not punish anyone for leaving a clan or force anyone to stay in a clan.

Sorry, But it will never happen. Clans can be international. So if a clan war's back to back someone that want's out needs to be on at the time the war get's started. Which mean's if the war start's at 3:00am your time and you want out. you need to be awake at that time.


The only thing I could see that would help is having a "War Log" on each person's profile instead of on the clan, So you could see there past war's and if they attacked or not.

All very good point. Maybe they should make it so only Leader and Co-Leaders can donate to war CC's? And I would rather have someone stay and see if they would even attack then just leaving. If they did do bunk attacks, you can just kick them them. Would be the same as them just leaving. And maybe the making them stay for 24 hours was part of me raging a lil haha. I dont agree they should be forced to stay, it makes no sense as they could cause way more problems by staying, however i do think they should not be allowed to join another clan till the war period is over, then they can either rejoin and fight or wait till it's over and join a new clan, nothing more annoying that inviting a new member and he can't war for 18 hours, at least this way it makes it easier to find new members for war

But what if you don't want co leaders or elder? It would just make people less likely to donate

I wouldn't say leader and co's only, but I have booted people before who were not donating the required type and/or level of troops. Can be a pain to figure out who but it can be done.

Sounds good, I wanna gather a bunch of people and trap them in my clan for two days, and make them listen to me bore them to death with a lecture
