The Stampeder looks like a wispy, grey shadow with mischievous yellowish eyes.
How it works:
1) Once deployed, it looks for the longest line of buildings from where it has been deployed and starts running from the start point to the end point (which it decides). All buildings in between are affected by its splash damage and their hit points are reduced (maybe by 30 or 40 per building - I don't have a Developer iPad!).
It can run through walls.
IF the Stampeder reaches the end point and is still alive, then it looks for the longest path again and continues from there.
Graphical effects
The Stampeder leaves a light blue flame behind it which disappears (fades) slowly.
All buildings affected by it acquire a mild grey shade for a few seconds.
Trap Vulnerability
It is NOT affected by spring traps and is too quick for giant bombs.
Skeleton traps have minimum effect since this troop never stops.
Possible Weakness
Multi-mode inferno towers are a good way to deal with it.
As written in its stats, with every building that the Stampeder affects, its own HP is reduced by 10.
Hence, balancing its speed and trap avoidance :)
WHY this troop?
All of the dark troops have some special ability. Most people have come up with electric troops, as they believe Clash is moving towards an Electric theme. Although I don't disagree, I feel that electric troops will be a bit boring and can be OP (or plain stupid).
The Stampeder provides the best way to deal with a number of buildings without being OverPowered.
He can potentially decide the difference between a 1 star and 2 star attack by causing that extra bit of Damage on the Town Hall.
Lemme know what you guys think!
