I think there should be more ways to spend elixir, because since there are more upgrades that require elixir, I have the problem of continuously having my gold storages empty and elixir storages full.
back when elixir could be used to upgrade walls I didn't have this problem. I understand this was removed for economy balancing but, I thought, you could also just increase the cost of upgrading walls with either gold or elixir by 1.5×

Had the opposite problem while waiting for my lab to finish up. I was stuck with nothing to upgrade, full gold storages, and low Elixir from spending time doing dragon raids for Dark Elixir to pass the time. Then I had full Dark Elixir, and had no reason to raid anymore until attacked and looted some.
So what I'm basicly saying is, have fun with your Elixir glut. That is easier to manage than a gold glut with nothing to spend it on.
Come on, the math has been posted numerous times since they took away the L8 and lower elixir walls. TH8 has about a 2:1 gold/elixir ratio not including walls. TH8 does not have enough to spend elixir on. And a lot of it is lab upgrades, which take a lot of time, so elixir will necessarily build up all the time, not just at the end of TH8. TH8's need more to spend elixir on. Or less to spend gold on...Quote:

I'm not suggesting walls. Needs to be something else. Either that, or bring back the walls, but with some kind of restriction or penalty. I'm in favor of adding 1M elixir to the cost of all walls, so make skull walls cost 500k gold or 1.5M elixir. (And make legos cost 1M gold or 2M elixir, lavas 3M gold or 4M elixir, zaps 4M gold or 5M elixir.)
+1 for changing lix for walls to lvl10 or higher.

You cant add the total cost of the list though lol it includes spells troops and xbow refill all of with are an infinite drain on elixir thus can not be assigned to a finite number.Quote:
