I don't see the point of this. Dragons and Barbarians mixes don't make good army compositions. The fact that Dragons take only 6 minutes to make is great, but Barbarians don't need 4 seconds. Is 20 seconds just too long?

Barbarian x5 is probably a way to make you boost the archers or your army would be so lopsided.
The simple reason why they decided to do the dragons was to confuse Th8's. On one hand those Th8s with overflowing elixir will finally have a fast way to get rid of the elixir and on the other hand this will infuriate TH8s and TH7s that have been complaining about the proliferation of the mass dragon attacks.....

It's a Superbowl event in case you guys didn't know. I don't understand why everyone is complaining about it and analyzing its effect on the Clash economy. Just realize that they made two troops faster to make. Nothing else has changed.
They will come to the realization for one troop that dragons are to powerful and it ruins any reason for any sort of army composition. If we go to war would we just use soley submarines, or just fighter jets?
My barbs train 5x faster while my dragons still same as before.?
My only issue with update is the only bases I can find now with any loot worth raiding are 10s with discos.
It seems like any base that can be attacked by a barch combo is out. Sigh.
Hopefully the economy bounces back tomorrow.
I just hope this event end soon. Theres barb traces all over the place, loots really bad now..

Supercell is trolling us. They boosted Barbarians and not Archers because? Nobody uses mass Barbs anyway and making Barbs insanely quick to train means you have to actually count the number of Barbs and Archers to train instead of just filling two Barracks with Barbs and the other two with Archers which make it much more tedious to farm. I really wish this event would end already.

It's actually pretty devastating to the loot situation, every collector in a hundred miles is empty.
Seems loot is recovering a bit for me, found a dozen or less collector raids today. But my oh my it was terrible yesterday, half of my clan mates raged quit because of the terrible loot.Quote:

I really dont understand all complains, now you can create an army much faster.
I farming with BAM strategy, so i put in:
40 barbs+20 archers in each of 2 barracks
25 archers in each of 2 barracks
15 minions in 1 dark barrack(the other isnt available atm)
This means, that i can farm each 10 minutes and even faster, if i dont waste minions....in that case i can farming each 8 minutes.
It would be amazing, if they reduce training time for minions instead drags someday, that would be a thing :rolleyes:
Im not seeing too much elixir? Im struggling to come up with enough elixir to keep my builders busy. I am a TH10 and between lab needs, training troops (expecially for wars) and upgrading buildings that cost elixir, I am farming all day long... Including while I am at work... I had to drop trophies down to 2000 just so I could use a cheaper army to attack because Elixir is dried up in 3000 trophy range where I was... You had to go in with balloons and spells, or GoWiPe or what ever war army you prefer and I found myself running out of elixir all the time... Considering now at Lvl 9 walls I can also use elixir to build walls once Im done upgrading in my lab and buildings there is no way there will ever be an abundance of Elixir for me until I TOTALLY max out everything including walls... So Im calling the OP out on his post for sure...
I figured I wouldn't find much loot and I get attacked not even a minute after logging off. I'm hiding under a shield and maxing collectors til this event is over.
Because the 5-10 extra seconds it took to make 20 barbs, 26 archers, 2 wallbreakers per barracks instead of mass queuing each barrack was devastating, frustrating and completely ridiculous, why would they give us a boost? Barbarians were training way too fast compared to archers!
Forget the fact that boosting just Barbarians shaved off 3-5 minutes of cook time with that update.
I was enraged at the fact it took me 5-10 seconds longer to balance my troop comp instead of queuing 2 barracks barb 2 barracks archer so that i could attack 5 minutes faster.
Supercell you make no sense...wait no, you people complaining don't.

Could not disagree more. I am finishing up my last gold upgrades as a TH 10. Unfortunately I still need to upgrade my camps, my drill, my dark barracks, and several elixir based troop upgrades. If anything, there is too much gold in the game right now but until I get my walls up to ZAP, I would never admit that!Quote:

Well guys, the event ended this morning. Barbarians and Dragons train at normal time now.
