-Are they centralized?
-Do their radii overlap?
-Is your Air Bomb placement away from the Air Defenses?
-Are your Air Defenses at least Level 6?
Are your X-Bows on Ground-Air?

Even though they might be overpowered. You need to practice in order to get three stars on a consistent basis. It's not like the hogs upgrade where you just needed to know how to place the troops. If you don't use loons a specific way they will not work in your favor. This is why there is yet to be a true lavaloonion frenzy. You have to invest some time in this strategy but once you learn it you are good to go.

maybe that's why (+i'm not in champ. league i guess)
My mini is trying lavaloon for the last 2 weeks in war (level 2 lava, level 6 loon and level 5 minions) and the best I did was 2 star on a TH9.
It's not what I call "overpowered"
Golem can 3 star a ma base. Are they overpowered?
I'll try with a level 3 lava in a week. I'll see if that makes a difference.
For me an overpowered troop can take any base. Which from what I understand is not the case here. Trust me when 3 AD fire on a lava, it doesn't live long.

They are not OP they are just easier to use than a golem based attack which is why they are starting to boom as a highly used troop, and iv never seen an OP troop since the hogs got there super buff and where flattening anything they touched, with no skill involved.
Didn't invest any interest in lavaloonion until I saw the complaint threads... Been using lavaloonion for a week now and love it. If you can't beat them join them?
