40k dark elixir

Right no i have 40k dark elixir. Should i upgrade my queen to lvl 8 or save up and get lvl 2 golems?

golems. just got mine to 3 and they are tanks. my queen is only at 9 and im upgrading my golems to 4 (th9) before my queen goes to 10, have hogs going to 5 at the moment though

IMO golems.
and you should've already had lvl2 golems by now.

Depends if you war or plan to go up in cups, my golems are still level 1 while my queen is being upgraded to level 19, i just dont use golems.

Definitely up your queen! Try and do your royals in bunches of 5 levels as their ability levels increases at 5,10,15 etc... Very defeinitely worth doing...

Do you use golems?

I never use golems so have put them off.
I have level 16 currently upgrading to 17 heroes and level 1 golems.
I have no regrets.

My theory has always been this:

You never know when youre going to switch strategies. The game evolves, you progress, change clans, et cetera.
So, ideally, your troops should be maxed or near maxed at every townhall level. I never trained a pekka in my life. At th8 I upgraded them to lvl2 but not lvl3. Now at th9, I need them in almost every war attack. Now I regret not maxing them at th8. Same thing with golems. You will need them eventually. Max them out.

If you've completed all your elixir upgrades in the lab then do the golem, no point leaving your lab with nothing to do.

If your elixir upgrades in the lab are not done then start an elixir upgrade and use the DE for the Queen that way you can maximize your upgrade time.

The Queen can be used for farming and war but golem is likely to be only used in war, unless your one of the rare players who use golem for farming... :)

Thats why I hate the current CW matchmaking system. Your better of specializing in one attack strategy. We just give a middle finger to it and fight higher THs.
