BK is always first. Do not waste a single DE on training DE troops or researches until you could level up BK to it maxed level. (lvl5 as TH7 and lvl10 as TH8)
When I enter to TH7 45 days ago there was no DE drill. I build the DE storage and upgrade BK to level5 non-stop in one week.
After that I did the researches for minions lvl2 and hogs lvl2.
At th7 I had everything maxed except king and de upgrades, th7 did not have the drill then, only starting to use dark troops now as a mid level th8, still only spending de on king ( current level 9). Once king is up to 10 my elixir upgrades in the lab will be finished and I can focus research totally on de troops, hogs minions and finally the golem upgrade, time permitting I may even do valks
Using hog riders against other TH7 at lv2 mixed with 5 or 6 dragons will get you every TH7 at most and many mid TH8. All TH7 in my clan use this strategy and it works great in 90% of bases. Try it and see
Upgrade your barb king. Hogs are really useful but your king will be more helpful when you have his ability. You can use him to get the DE to upgrade your hogs later....
