I'm a nearly maxed TH7. I only have my walls, 3 lab upgrades (Dragon, Rage Spell, Hogs) and 2 barb King levels to go. I plan to max everything out, but the cost of the hog rider upgrade annoys me. I know it costs the same as a Lv. 5 barb King, but I don't use hogs and I want Iron Fist.
Is the Hog rider upgrade really necessary for me if I don't use them? should I just the upgrade at TH8 or finish it at TH7
Go for Iron Fist first. Upgrade the ones that you use most first, and then secondary is well... Secondary. :cool:
EDIT: But, you should finish them at TH 7 so you don't have to worry about under leveled hogs when you get to TH 8

max out everything you can at every th level. i got screwed over when i upgraded to th 8 didn't max out bc i wanted the drill and i already had lvl 2 minions. i got to th 8 and then th 7 gets de drill in an update :/ ... hence why i tell th 7 MAX THE HECK OUT ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT !!!!
Do you like warring? If yes, then upgrade your hogs. Dragons and Hogs are guaranteed 3 stars for TH7s and 8s. Buts like the above posters say, do your BK to lv5 first.
it's not exactly necessary to get everything (DE upgrades) to max at TH7. it will be easier at TH8. that if you don't care about TH8's upgrades which is Lab Upgrades > Building upgrades
btw, Iron fist will help more in farming and war, I think
I'm going to TH9 and have done 0 dark elixir upgrades for my troops. You'll be fine.
