Viable th9 trophy base for pushing to champs?

My defenses are maxed for th9 besides walls and heroes. My walls are mainly level 9 besides around 40 lavas. I am just looking for a layout for th9 that stands the best chance to prevent being 3 starred. Preferably a layout with the th on the outside.

Best trophy base would be keeping your townhall outside, doesnt matter how maxed a townhall 9 is, over 2800, it will always get smashed.
Its rare that TH10's win over 3000, so a TH9 doesnt have much choice other than doing it off offence.

Yes, TH outside. Frankly I'd consider anything short of a 3 star a huge, huge, huge success.
