Spells in a clan castle idea
This is something different than a troops or spell. What if you could donate spells to other players, and the spells would be used by the castle as defence or even attack? It might smething like this:
Defence:
-If a lightning spell was donated, the clan castle would behave like a hidden tesla, just with much longer range, and if the spell did 300 damage (level 1), then the clan would stop zapping things once a damage cap of 300 was reached.
-With healing spells, the units within would regen health (albeit slowly) when deployed, or it would drop a heal spell on defences, repairing them as they shot down intruders.
- Rage spells would make the defensive units do more damage, move faster, e.t.c.
-Jump spells would be deployed in a short area around the castle, and any attacker that wanders into it gets launched away, much like a spring trap.
-With Freeze spells, it would launch the spell onto the units, freezing them for a short time so the defences could pick them off.
Attack:
the spells would appear as extra spells in the unit bar at the bottom of the screen
This would become available at clan castle 3, and and would allow one more spell for every 2 upgrades, with a maximum of three for a full level castle.
Please give this idea some thought, as this could potentially add a new twist into attacking people with clan castles!
