Why is the lab 4 by 4 ????

So this doesn't make sense to me. it makes sense that the TH is 4 by 4, because it is the main/most important building in your village. Also, it makes sense that hidden teslas are 2 by 2 because if they were bigger you could spawn troops on them, same with the big bombs. But why is the lab 4 by 4?!?!?!?!? I can't think of any logical reason why it should be... They should either make the lab 3 by 3 or at least make the spell factory 4 by 4.

Why is a cannon a 3x3 square? Because thats how they made it.

Lol it does Irk a lot of people as well, but people find it useful to switch the lab and Th (farming/Trophy) without having to worry about spacing issues. PLus the wizards need a lot of room to upgrade troops/spells without worrying about blowing up the place :cool::rolleyes:

Well the cannon is 3 by 3 because that's the "standard" building size, the lab is not "standard", and I can't think of a reason for it not to be...

why would you switch lab with TH when you can have a separate farming base that doesn't waste core space on the lab??

It's not some big conspiracy. It's not the illuminati. It's not about saving space on the base.
They litteraly just designed the buildings, and would've looked at a 3x3 lab and thought it looked too squeezed.

this was before the Layout Update...now, yeah people just have different layouts saved for trophy/farming. Other than that, I think most Army Buildings are bigger than 3x3 other than the SF. Not a really huge deal, but what's your problem with it?

I simply put the lab inside to have some symetry with the TH. Otherwise nothing seems to fit right. :(

At least it has a bit more HP now.

Mad scientists need room to work, man! There's a lot of genetic engineering going on up in there! They've submitted a plan to the Town Hall to double the size of the Laboratory to 4x8, but they couldn't get the permit. Plus, the Builder never called them back.

At the begining it was 3x3. But there was one big problem: Scientists had no room to put cat pictures.
