What do you upgrade first your heros or dark troops ?
Depends on the level. For example, I got lvl 5 minions before I started upgrading my queen from 5-10 at th9.
I would go for heroes, as you have almost 78 upgrades to do.Quote:

I have typically upgraded my dark troops that I use in war first then Heros. But my Heros are way behind where they should be so it might not be the best strategy. lol.
i havent upgraded any dark troops but have my heros at lvl 10 both
I've started putting more focus into my heroes, as they are quite gamechangers against higher level bases.
When I was a 9 I maxed my hogs, cause at the time hogging was a very popular strategy. I neglected the other dark troops and started hero work. Go back and forth but I am currently at a lvl 18 King and lvl 20 queen. I have hogs, minions, and hounds maxed. Golems are only lvl 2 and I don't use valks so they are lvl 1 still.
I've neglected my golems.....reason being, I don't use them in anything but war attacks, and even then, I only make one, and a clanmate donates a max.....I see heroes as being more valuable (for now) BUT when my King gets to 20 I have said that I am going to max golems and then get back on nothing but heroes
Upgrade troops first because they take a specific time to finish and while they are upgrading farm heroes
Right now, I'm upgrading my heroes whenever I have enough DE to. Infrequently, they will both be upgrading, but I usually don't have enough DE for that. Dark troops are nice but I only use them in war, whereas my heroes are much more valuable to me for farming. War is fun I guess but I play the game to farm.
I upgraded my hogs, minions, golems and witchs to max lvl for th9 before I started doing hero upgrades after getting my AQ to lvl 5 of course. It made things for war much easier instead of having to depend on my heroes. Having a high lvl gowiwi attack and one hero down is much easier when I have a lvl 4 golem and lvl 2 witches.
