Wizards and AI attacks

It seems to me after the winter removal, my wizards are no longer even half way intelligent. Has anyone else noticed this?

Before on my GOWIWI attacks, I would drop a few wizards down and they'd make their way into the center of the base. Now, in our clan war, they will attack and just get zapped by teslas while trying to destroy the builder hut or barracks right in front of them instead of taking out the tesla, which is also right next to them. They don't move to the center any longer, they just go for the nearest neighbor algorithm. It's quite frustrating.

Has anyone else noticed this change in the game play or is it just me and my clan experiencing this?

The last update removed the winter theme. That is all.
No content, no bug fixes, no AI changes.

you just got worse at the game and funneling your troops to the core of the base, the wizard ai remains the same, they go for the closest building =)

I've also noticed a weird rash on my butt since the winter removal...has anyone else noticed this? It has to be connected to the patch. SC did something, I'm sure of it.

haha, i'm sure there's some truth to that, however, it really has been painfully obvious since the update that wizards aren't doing what they used to. you can tell me all day long that the update was simply to remove the winter theme, but i'll never believe that they don't do small upgrades that the public doesn't need to know about. i'm sure supercell implements little tests along the way to see if the game play improves, then rolls out a massive implementation with the big updates. but hey, black helicopters and such. i'm just not naive enough to think nothing changed when i clearly see a change in the attack strategy of wizards.

You're saying their AI was changed because they go for the closest building now, even though that's what they have always done. Their AI was not changed.

i know they tweak the ai with every update without letting people know, but i dont think its possible in this case, since the update was not forced

My phone still has snow and has not updated with the recent update, yet my tablet I have updated and the snow is gone. On both devices the wizards do the same thing.

well that would be because you drag your butt on the ground. When the snow was there it would slide along but now that the snow is gone it's a rougher surface.
