last year, i could remember that an update will take place each month, or at least one month + 1 or 2 weeks.
but this christmas update and the update after has taken very long time (christmas update is 2 months from haloween, and it's been almost 2 months since christmas update and not even sneakpeek has appeared)
why is that?
More content = more coding?
I find this to be one of the oddest kinds of expectations.
Why do you need constant updates/changes/new things? Especially every month?
I would want to enjoy all of the current things first, not watch the game play change 10 times in a year.
Maybe theyre adding something MAJOR( daily quests....eg.)
it's always exciting to get something new, it's not like the gameplay changes everytime there is an update.Quote:

Actually they might not be, but yes it does take A LOT of coding, clan wars took 5 monthes

I'm guessing the developers maybe wanted to take a break over Christmas just like we all did.
Given that the last update contained some major changes to the economy I think its sensible to give it some time for these to flow through.
Maybe there is no th 11 update as to the hordes of people speculating about it lol
i think it helps if there are regular updates. it kinda lets you know that the game is still developing where as now its looking like they are running out of ideas.
CW didnt take 5 months to code. maybe it took 5 months from them starting to actually finishing but they werent constantly coding. if they where they want sacking. nothing should take 5 months if a few programmers are working on it full time. having said that rigorous testing does take time.
the coding they have been doing recently doesnt take much. certainly not 2 months for each.
i would consider that they are slowing down, running out of ideas or just waiting to push the button on th11. once th11 is out i can see a whole host of new updates that they have been keeping just for that.
im not sure what it was like at the beginning of coc. did it slow down before they released a new th or was it consistant until this time last year?
