Loons vs Hogs to lure cc

I use hogs when clan castle is hard to trigger

ballons stay longer but only lure troups which attack air.
it means that if in the castle there is some troups like valkyrie golem balloons pekka ou barbarian, the balloon will not lure them and they will go out for the ground troups.

Aaaaah didn't know that! Thanks all! Will test both out for the next couple of day to see what works best for me

There's no rule. Pick the lure troop based on what you are attacking. Sticking religiously to one method of luring will end in disaster. You could always use giants if the agro circle extends past the wall.

As for whether to lure. I always do unless it would be too expensive to do so. But that is personal preference. I've seen so many raids ruined by the cc.

Agree with this, only when searching the in the clouds you can not know what you are going to attack

Don't it won't pull out other balloons, defensive balloons are damaging.

Loons don't lure ground troops right?

Do you guys recommend hogs or loons? I still think hogs are better... But still a little in doubt...
