Shouldn't match making be based on TH or levels?

Says who?! If you can get to any league and can stay there, you obviously have business there. There is no wheels or cogs in the game mechanics that prevents ANY player from getting to any league. This is a payer construct outside the bounds of the game designs that SOME players are trying to FORCE onto other players, but they have NO RIGHT to do so.

For example 2000 gems buys a 5th builder, getting to champ gives that to you. It makes it obvious that if you can get there, you get your builder for free. So why shouldnt ANYONE who wants that 5th builder (4th is gotten by getting to master league) move on up to champ?

If you think you can remove those of th5 and lower that are champs, then you are free to do so in game, but you will ahve to get up there and do it through matchmaking. Otherwise, don't tell other people how they have to paly because it is what YOU want...as the game is NOT for you but for everyone.

Town Hall 1 players, you have every right to be in champ if you can earn it by getting 3200 trophies! Come join me, let the revolution begin! Town HAll 10s are coming down to places like gold and such to farm, so everyone else come up to chance where you are protected more! If the high town hall levels want to play int he lower leagues, then let them have it and us lower level town halls can play in champ and master leagues! FLIP THE LEADERBOARD!

Matchmaking started off my levels, you could only attack one level above or below you, then donation farming began, and TH4's were getting matched up with TH8s. Thus ended that, then it was based off townhall level, but the pool of players was so small, that didnt work. So they changed it to everyone could attack everyone, but there would be little to no reward for picking on the new players.

The XP level means nothing in the game except what decorations you can buy. It is an artifact of every common game out there as all have XP levels. RTS does not do anything based on XP level, unless it is unlocking new troops or building or resources, but in C Lash that is handled by Town Hall level like the early RTS's. It really serves no purpose in the game and could easily be removed and not affect a single thing in the game except bragging rights about donations or who has the PEKKA statue.

I am not complaining about it, i am doing something about it. I and going to pick on the big dogs in their own league! :cool: I plan on taking the big dogs that run wild to the pound where they belong!

The fumy thing is that half the bases i see in champs that are th10, have unprotected corner dark elixir storage. I am pretty sure the reason for this is, that those who want it most or need it like for upgrading kings and queens are all lower than champ league, so people feel safe to just leave it out in the open while those th10 farmers are down in crystal. Sad th5 doesnt get de storage so I can take some for myself and then let others take it and what i get at bonus loot. I understand why the drillw as added to th7, but still not sure why you have to wait for a resource on the same level you first get things to build for it. Would have made more sense to me to give the storage before th7 so people would be collecting and looting it in advance of being able to build the king, and dark troops. thus since you can't use it before th7, you can only store it, but when you CAN use it at th7, then you get the drill to keep it flowing as you make minions or try to make and upgrade your king. I really wish I had de to offer to people, but after 200 wins or more above master about 1 million dark elixir given as bonus loot, jsut never really came into existence because i just cant store it for other people to loot form me. :( which is why i avoid taking ANY de from other playes because they have no chance to get it back except in bonus loot.

What would be the point of upgrading anything if this were the case? Might as well take away TH level altogether and make everyone exactly equal.

Or you could just play chess instead.

TH5 could only attack against TH5 with no one to knock them a little bit back into the proper league.

There isn't anything wrong with a TH5 in champs if they could stay up there.

Actually, town hall level is not considered for war match making. Defenses, troops, spells, heroes, and walls are used for this.

you realize that town hall level is the determining factor on what levels those troops and defenses are right? you can't have minions at all at town hall 4....nor do you get rage, heal, jump, freeze spells.... town hall determines EVERYTHING that affects a war, that is why so many people rush because town hall is what unlocks these things. The building itself may not factor into an algorithm to say WHAT is available, but it does affect what can be factored in because...what is available at that town hall level.
