The Afternoon Dead Zone

Woohoo, 5:18 PM, finally found a fat collector raid of a TH8 for 270/270. Not a single one of those for the last few hours.

I have noticed a dead zone 10AM EST, it lasted nearly two hours in the last 3 days. Not sure how to explain it. (TH10 farming lix in C3)

I don't know about what you mentioned, but 7 AM EST is always bad for me. 1 PM - 5 PM is when a lot of America is AFK doing work or school. As a result, these active, but offline accounts get pumped into matchmaking with these terrible loots.

About 1-5 pm, Eastern USA (GMT-5), loot is terrible regardless of trophies range.

Yes, I find the same thing, early morning Australian time there is practically no loot to be found. However when it comes to mid-late afternoon I find I am sometimes bathing in loot 😬

For me loot's pretty hard to find 5am - 6pm PST. And I get on during my lunch and a bit during classes. Get's better at around 7pm to midnight which is when I am sometimes sleeping. Around midnight is when I get attacked and get a 12-hour shield.

The OP's dead zone is pretty on the spot.

The sweet spot changes by league, as well. I usually do well in mornings (US central time), but it gets sub par for awhile in the afternoon......but I have found monster loot in the early afternoon when I hit the right range.

The last couple of days may not be typical. Most schools from New Jersey up through New England were closed because of weather. The kids in my clan have been playing a lot more than they usually do. A whole lot more.

Hmm...interesting.

Kinda' hard to believe that one region would have such a big impact. Drought is still continuing for me today. 8hrs. :(
