Defensive Buildings upgrade with elixr

I don't agree with that at th9 you have a lot of elixir upgrades like people above me already mentioned.
The problem of having too much elixir at th8 & the upgrade times of troops going way over the time you need to max your base is an experience i had myself. The solution for that is not letting us upgrade cannons with elixir // defenses in general.

No the troops upgrade times you get at th8 should be reduced & you should be able to upgrade lvl7 walls with elixir again which would definitly solve the huge amounts of elixir wasted at th8!

The huge disparity between the cost of gold upgrades and elixir upgrades at TH8 is a game design flaw, in my opinion. I'm not even talking about the cost of L8 walls. Let's leave those aside for a moment. The cost of gold upgrades (traps and defenses) far outweighs the cost of elixir upgrades (barracks, dark barracks, lab, lab upgrades).

But the answer to the problem shouldn't be "Hey, let's take an upgrade that currently costs gold, and make it cost elixir!!!"

The answer should be something far simpler: more stuff to spend elixir on at TH8. Do I have a proposal? No, that's what this subforum is for. Let's suggest things to spend elixir on at TH8, rather than crying about walls that aren't coming back.

Or, if you really want to be a grinch, we could suggest taking some of the TH8 gold upgrades away from TH8, and either move them down to TH7, or more likely, move them up to TH9. You know, that 3rd Air Defense and/or new level 6 AD, 3rd wizard tower and/or one of the two WT levels, etc. That would balance TH8 better, at least as far as gold/elixir are balanced. :rolleyes:
