If you make a base starting with a 3x3 building in the exact middle, the base is never completely in the middle.

If my base isn't symmetrical, then there's no point in using it

My base must ALWAYS be centered as well :p

You base will never look the same again...

Now I'm curious. Are you more or less likely to attack an asymmetrical base?

I keep my base somewhat messy because I think (hope) it makes it slightly harder to formulate a good attack strategy in 30 seconds, which might cause more people to skip it.

If it also repels attackers with OCD tendencies that might be an added bonus. :-)

I attack any base with good loot.

But I prefer attacking bases with some kind of structure over bases with buildings just dropped randomly on the map.

I can legitimately say that I have OCD and I really don't care that there are an odd number of builders :confused:

I do not have clinically diagnosed OCD, but have what I have 'unprofessionally-self-diagnosed' my self with; OCTs (obsessive compulsive tendencies :p)

Yes, I like symmetry. (and neatness)
Yes, it bothers me when I have and Odd cannon number to pair with my Even numbered Archer towers. and vice versa.
Yes, it bothers me that the Lab and and TH are ONLY 5x5 structures. (SF and CC could be 5x5 as well IMO)
and while their are 4 Camps, they are 6x6 tiles which fits with nothing.. besides Camps..

I do not like that I cannot 'Center' my layouts most of the time
I do not like un even leveled Barrax (I need the same amount of troop training capacity, not t mention visually it looks off) also I do the same 'order-game' with my Barrax order, WB,Giant,Wiz,Loon,Hog (gives me time to find them all).. find the order for my layout.. cancel troops, the No1 always goes near the SF, and usually near a camp too so I can quickly check my troops/camps/spells;)
I do not llke when I have a really symmetrical layout planned and nearly finished, then I have a few odd walls to go... where, somewhere random? or not enough to enclose everything, Erg!

I used to be much worse, but I have learned to deal with the limitations each TH presents, they all have positives (except maybe TH 6,8... terrible defensive stops IMO)

I assume I could be far worse, but in the end its just a game. a rather fun one!

Wow. Just from reading this thread, i realized OCDs are way nore common than i thought. :p. 5 builders must drive you guys crazy, then.
