OCD and COC

Am I the only one who has it that severe?

I hate the fact I have 5 builders and not 4 or 6.
The lab fits nowhere (except when you mirror it with your TH)
The SF fits nowhere really.
The number of defensive buildings at TH9 is uneven. Whyyyyyyy oh whyyyyyyyy.

Last but not least: my base always needs to be exactly in the middle of my map. Often I make an awesome base and then throw it away because it's not in the middle.

Are there other people having the same problem?

TH10 will be hell for me with 3 xbows and 5 gbs :(

You must be happy with the 4th motar then...
No one says that you must buy the 5th builder or the spell factory.
Symetry is really related occidental education, orientals consider asymetry much more elegant : take a trip to Japan !

I know the feeling, symmetry is everything in my base, I wish spell factory and lab were the same size, would make it so much easier.

i know, but i dont know how many times i've had to rearrange walls to make it 'perfect'

I often wonder if they ever heard from symmetry when I see some of their bases. It's like they just randomly dropped buildings and walls.

Exactly!
There is no need for the lab for being 4x4 while the only other building with that size is the TH.

If it's not severe OCD just force yourself doing what you dislike !
There was a time when seeing a door or a drawer un perfectly closed was impossible to me... now it's ok i do not care anymore

Yes I think that symmetrical base OCD goes hand in hand with the addictive personalities that go along way in clash. The only one I don't have a problem with is getting my base in the centre. That's what the little nubbin is in the centre for, to help you.

There's a guy at my work who is OCD about his base really bad. One of his walls accidentally got upgraded to level 10 and now he's changed all of his plans and will be staying at TH9 until all of his walls are done so there isn't one level 10 wall sticking out.

Myself, I do try to keep a base symmetrical. . . but for solid defense, not out of compulsion. Also, sometimes I do wish there was an option to pick up and move all your buildings at once when a base is off-centered. I wouldn't start over, though. Now I know to look for the little plaque in the middle of the grid.

True, but if you start with a 3x3 building in the exact middle, u can never have your total base in the middle lol.
