TH9 vs TH10 Loot Penalty

Does anyone have any information on what the loot penalty will be for the TH10 and how much more significant will it be verse the TH9? I am trying to provide the details to my clan.

Nobody knows except supercell and they will NEVER post ANYTHING regarding the loot penalties. Though, one can only assume it will be the exact same way it is for every other TH.

Following the current loot penalties:

100% against other TH10
90% against a TH9
50% against a TH8
25% against a Th7

Assuming Supercell doesn't change the loot penalty/bonuses (which is definitely possible) it will be 10% bonus when attacking TH10s from TH9, and 10% penalty when attacking tH9s from TH10.

Wow, didn't realize it was a full 10% now. Yeesh.

This has been beaten to death elsewhere in the pre-patch speculation, but the concern with going to TH10 is the 50% cut to TH8 bases rather than the 10% cut to TH9. After all the splash damage buffs to TH9 over the months, high level TH9 bases are *really* strong against farm troops. Removing TH8 from the plate really only leaves premature and low level TH9 bases (as well as premature TH10 bases?) as viable targets. Without significant offensive buffs to enable attacking TH9s with farming (tier 1) troops, assuming the TH10 loot penalty seems like a bad choice for farmers.

On top of the penalty is the searching cost. Im guessing 1k per search

Exactly... If you go to TH10, be ready to only attack bases with X-Bows from now on, even when "farming"...

Thanks for the info gents. I will be putting the clan APB that going to TH 10 is not advised at all. I am probably the furthest one along and in no way shape or form ready for it.

Spot on Hannibal.. There has to be an incentive for resource hunters to go to 10 ... As yet i see nothing to suggest that it is a good progression.. However anyone who has played the game for any significant time also know that SC seem to keep us here somehow!
