When is the right time to go to TH10

I am of the opinion that the 14 million for x bows level 3 is better spent on th10 upgrade and 2 infernos

Go to th10 whenever you want to. Everybody has a diff idea, so do what you want.
IMO a person should move up a TH after they've maxed everything. And I mean everything. I almost think the game shouldn't permit moving up until you've maxed the prior TH in every way.

What TH are you?

Loot at TH10 is not as bad as some would have you believe. Loot per hour is definitely lower at TH10 than at TH9.

That being said, if you have maxed your defenses and other buildings I would go to TH10. I waited to finish my lego walls and have no regrets about it, but I did waste a few weeks of builder time because i was doing the walls and you could argue that was not the most efficient way to do it.

Bottom line, this is game meant to played for fun and amusement. You should treat it as such, if you feel like you will enjoy the game more by upgrading then go for it. With maxed TH9 defenses you will be fine at TH10 and don't let the loot issues scare you off as its really not all that bad. On the other hand if you are having fun working on walls/heroes then by all means keep at it because it will help you at TH10 to have some of that stuff out of the way already.

I upgraded because I got bored of doing walls and wanted some new toys to play with, and to me a game should never be boring or else what's the point of playing?

Never. TH10 is broken.

What about when you are max TH10, then your builders will be idle too.


I'm about to do my 150th LAVA (rest are lego). AQ is 21, BK 19. Defenses max. Lab finished.

I've been flying through lavas, so at this point, I'll probably just finish them and go with whatever hero level I have at that point. Alternately, I'll wait to see what the next update has then go then as 150 Lavas are probably sufficient.

The people who thing the loot at TH10 is broken is because they feed off TH8s while they are TH9s and NEVER raid TH9 or 10 EVER, and still try to get rich off TH8..

Th10 is fine for loots in C3 or above.. where the menu is, TH9s and TH10s of all levels..

I would say stay and max out then go. Get walls to at least lvl9 and at least queen to lvl20. Then upgrade that what I did and really now I thankful for those here on forums who where posting threads regarding maxing th9. It is choice but if go up you can't get down :)
