DE Storage Idea/Frustrated With Saving Up Dark Elixir

Hi Supercell I know this has been posted a gazillion times but I have to post this because I am so frustrated and I'm sure I share the same pain as other clashers.

Im saving up for a level 2 archer queen which is 50k DE and Im in the 40k DE range after about 3 weeks. I raid my DE fair and square. No lightning spells at all. But i cant really log on for long periods of time due to work.

Just an hour ago, i had 49k DE. And i couldnt raid one last village for DE as i had to rush to work. On the way to work, i logged back on to find that I had lost 5k DE due to players using only lightning spells on my DE storage. My trophy level is 1250-1350 and i dont get attacked by high level players with high level lightning spells. I get attacked by level 3 or 4 lightning spells by people who are level 7-8 TH. :mad::mad:

PLEASE do something about it. Come up with a deterrent. Have a lightning resistant DE storage that reduces lightning damage at level 4 and above or something.

I raid my DE FAIR AND SQUARE. I plan my attacks well and use strategically oriented troops(which is the main point of the game-strategy) So its not fair for players who just drop 3-4 lightning spells and get 1k DE from me. THAT'S MY MAIN POINT.

Your trophy level is too low for your level what do you expect... Most people linger on a lower trophy level then complain about lightning spells. You could complain about it the same way a th7 can complain about being raided by a th9 then not being able to revenge back because of a stronger defense. You are enjoying the perks of a good loot because of easier targets but not being able to take the bad side of it.

Agreed, move up the trophy range and you won't see LE, you probably just get flatten if your defense sucks. It's the way the game is meant to be played. everything can't come easy, if they did who is gonna gem?

You are kidding, right? In higher range, EVERYONE wants dark goo. And they ALL have lvl 5 lightning spells. I am losing not 1k but 4-5k while at work or sleeping. As far as "get flatten", I don't. I got too good defenses. Which is why high level people dont honestly attack me at all. Just drop lightning, take my dark elixir and call it a good day.

No, the beauty in higher trophy range is the loot bonus when you attack the same or higher level than you, you can easily get your de back by doing the same thing at the right time. And you are away from most th7 who will definitely use LS against you. If higher th levels use lvl 5 LS on you DE then they're stupid, passing on a chance to remove key mortars and get all the available DE (LS will just get you a portion of it) and they risk retaliation (especially w the loot bonus). If you play it right you will profit from it. Stay above 1700 you'll seldom see th7 LS attacks

I use to agree with the cup range being a leading cause of lightning attacks, but for the past few weeks, I have been hovering around 1500 and have only been hit once or twice in that time by TH7's. Now, earlier today, I was attacked by two lvl 75ish players dropping their four maxed out lightnings. So either the higher levels are getting lazy or more of them are dropping their count. I look forward to revenging one of them, their base will be a walk through and I should recoop my DE and steal roughly 200k of each of the others.

The only annoying thing in staying at lower trophies are th7s. At higher range if you get attacked by LS you could get them back because of lesser loot penalty. If you are th9 and attacked by th8, you could just simply flatten their village and get all the other resource

My future revenge is a TH9, with better upgrades than me. One of her poor design issues is that she has three of the four AD's upgrading and the fourth is lvl 3. Another design issue is that she is defensively lopsided, most towers in one corner and most storage in the other. Last time I checked, fairly full.

I am either extremely lucky, or this TH7 lightning attack is overplayed a bit. My elixir storage is level 6, I just got my 2nd star in heroic heist today, have never made a DE troop, never leave the 1350-1525 trophy range, and very rarely ever get attacked with lightning. When I do, the amount is negligible. I'm TH9. My sweet spot for farming gold since the league update has been the 1400s and see no reason to leave at this time.
