how do you recruit successfully

I am level 180 champion now, so i can fill a level 60+ clan in about 2-3 hours. However it was not always that easy for me, When I created a clan at level 100 back in April 2013 it took several weeks of all day recruiting to get it to be the clan I wanted it to be.

You are not doing anything wrong, it just takes persistence and hard work to make a successful clan.

1. First you need to fill the clan, you need to recruit over 100-150 people to get a full clan.
2. Second you need to replace all the clan hoppers.
3. Third you have to replace all the inactives that just joined your new clan.

Expect to have to recruit several hundred people to get a full clan that is loyal and active. It wont happen over night. It might take weeks, and it will definitely take a lot of hard work.

The work as a clan leader doesn't end there. The truth is that being a clan leader if you plan to be a good one, is a full time never ending job. But running a successful active clan with loyal members that stay with you month after month is worth it if you have the perseverance to see it through and create one.

Firstly, a new clan what directly search for level 50+ is already something stupid. You can better focus on searching low levels who can help you grow (like level 20/25+). Learn them the skills and they MIGHT be forever at yours.

Secondly, take care you have good donations in the whole clan. Lot's of 0 in the clan seems inactive.

Friends of friends- and it just keeps going.

I use to have close to 40 members and not a single one was from global.
We were all connected in one way or another.

We cut down to about 20-25 due to house cleaning and kicking people for not attacking in war.

I even kicked out my own manager from work for not using both attacks.
Kicked out family members/cousins/friends lol, but we are solid.

We have all levels and everyone has grown from or is continuing to grow.

That is good advise, if you recruit level 20/25+ and treat them well they will be loyal to you and your clan and grow as time goes along. Remember to level 20/25+ you as a level 100+ are an ole timer at this game and they will listen to every word you have to say and appreciate all the help you give them.

Ok, these "recruit 10 hours a day" or "recruit all day and you need hundreds of members" people are ridiculous. A short, sweet message in global will do the trick, spend 10-15 minutes at a time jumping around globals and posting it. That said, league helps, and the higher the better: it gets people to pay attention to you. If nothing's really working, you can make your clan "Anyone can join" for half an hour or so (while you're on) and just kick all the unqualified members, although that should be a last resort.

Anyone can join is a very effective setting when actively recruiting. If you set the trophies to about your 30-40th members trophies and set clan to open you should stay full most all the time. You do not need to keep everyone that joins, give them troops at least, and keep those who do qualify.

However you do go about it you will go through a lot of people to find a full clan that is active and loyal. Setting clan to open does help a lot. Don't set the trophies to high though other wise no one will join.
