Walls

So I've seen a lot of posts about that they should put back the system were u can upgrade walls with elixer at lvl 6 walls or not.

I have a idea that might be interesting,

So the current system is that u can upgrade walls with elixer from lvl 8 and above, but what if u can upgrade walls with elixer from lvl 7 but only when u have over 3 or 4 million elixer in storages, this way u can upgrade walls a bit quicker and there will still be enough elixer to raid.

Example:

I have 5 million elixer, the cap to upgrade walls with elixer is 3 million. So this means i can upgrade 4 lvl 7 walls to lvl 8 walls. then i reached the cap, so i can't upgrade anymore untill i hit 3.5 million elixer again. Then there is still plenty elixer to raid and I can upgrade my walls quicker.

Please let me hear what u think about this guys?

I'm in favor of this. You should be able to upgrade your walls, whatever the lvl, with the elixir you have which is above your cap point. This would change nothing to loot available, and would avoid for people to dump excess elixir instead of simply losing it.

Yh, thats what i was thinking too, i would love to see this comming in the future :)

I think this was suggested too. Most of the points I heard against this one centered around the fact that you can still exploit such a system by upgrading your walls first and then doing whatever upgrade you wanted with elixir. I think there were other arguments for and against the same idea too, but forgot them now.. Do search the update discussion threads that came out after this change.

As a TH8 who farmed the first 38 skulls with elixir, only to have that privilege revoked at the start of my journey, destined for weeks of maxed elixir storages, I sympathize with you. I also wholly support this idea. Luckily, I finished my skulls and I'm heading to TH9, and I'm never getting lvl 9 walls, so my opinion isn't very important anymore.

Yes, it has been suggested, but hotshot, that doesnt make sense, that isnt an exploit.

If you save for a big lab or elix building upgrade then spend it, youre always going to be temporarily broke to would be attackers.

The only time that would make any difference would be if you regularly sit on full storages waiting for builders, which you obviously cant be as youre citing the idea of ploughing into walls followed by lab. Doesnt make sense.

I'm currently also maxed out TH8, busy with getting my skulls.

I just started my last tesla to 6 today, all elixer upgrades in lab are done, and upgrades with elixer also done.

So i have nothing to spend it on, im sitting on 6mil elixer all the time, just finding it a waste and thinking about going to TH9.

But i also want those skulls be4 going th9. Thats why i started to think about this idea, I think it would be a awsome solution to this problem, and i know i'm not the only one with the same problem.

It depends on how much free time you get between builders, and which stage of th8 maxing you are at I guess. As a hardcore farmer, I can max my storages in a day with boosting sometimes.

That said, its not me you need to convince. I'd love this sorta change, being a th8 farming skull walls. :p:p
