The sad thruth about loot

Supercell clearly won't fix it, it's bad enough for people to buy ressources, but not bad enough so people think that they have good loot even if with the actual loot it would take 10h of farm to get a x-bow lvl3.

For people wondering: No, 1m/h under boost isn't good at all.

@Supercell: We aren't stupid and we know you aren't, we know you knew that lvl12 collectors won't do anything because a lot of people don't even upgrade them to lvl10-11.

That post is mainly for TH9-10. Below, loot is good enough for the price of upgrade.

I think the problem isn't the loot being bad, but the high level upgrades are too expensive, so it seems that loot is bad, but anyway, something has to be changed SC!

Wow, just use barch and farm if you can't do an upgrade.

My problem isn't loot, it's build times! I have been at full storages or gold and elixir with no builders for 3 days! Find the right farming range. As I will always say, loot fluctuates. I have gone through dry spells but also times where in 3 searches I found 250k/250k/1k inactives.

Yeah those building times are a bummer.

It is good. Finding some monster collector raids lately.

Just did this for over 12h yesterday, farmed only 13 lvl9 walls, taking dead and easy storage. Had boosted 1 barrack so it take only 10min for my army, but thats useless when it take 20min to find a base.

Same, with my Th7 sadly and it was a Th10...

You clearly can't farm. I actually struggle with the amount of loot I get. One day will find out whats the patience test on this game. And its not nexting when farming.

Where do you farm and how?

I am farming TH8s that are not dead bases with level 4 BARCH, hitting 2 gold storages. :)

You should be able to attack active TH8s not just dead bases.. There are tons of TH8 posts complaining about TH9s raiding them for all their loot in the BASE design forum. These are the active ones.

Th8 are part of the easy storage i talked about in a previous post.

And i said that post was mainly for TH9-10.

Dude... it depends. There isn't any awesome spots to farm. If you want DE (which is what you should be going after mostly if TH10) C3-M3 is fine eve though I prefer M3. If you want gold G1-C1 is my preference. Of course, champs beats all but you need an archer queen available and I'm guessing you will be upgrading her

Loot is perfectly fine, im TH9 (fresh) over a month a little bit, and im 20 lava walls already and full legos, finding 300-600k raids all the time, using barch in gold only, and looking for collectors raids, in 2 hours of boost i can farm up to 8-12 mln total of gold/elixir and usually about 10-15k dark

A man walks past a shop that has a sign outside "come inside, everything here is sold at nice prices". Thinking he might get a bargain or two the man goes in. After looking around for half an hour the man feels if he were to buy anything he would be paying well over the odds. So he goes up to the shop keeper and says, "your sign outside says everything is sold at nice prices?" The shop keeper replies "well I like them."

The game is not meant to be easy, it's meant to encourage you to buy gems. It's a business. Thinking of it in any other way can only lead to disappointment.

300-600k raid all the time? I see one every 20min in gold1.

I'm TH9 farming at 1600-1700 and finding lots of dead 200-300k bases. Howeer it is differet for everyone (with some luck) and there are times when I do next for a long time.

It depends on when you raid, also The weekend raids aren't so hot. People login and dump their loot and raid other players. I find more loot in the middle of the week.

That's the why they'll never touch to my money again. They would if it was worth it for me to boost but it isn't.

seriously there seems to be something way of now. when I was th7 all I got was gold and now I am th8 all I get is elixir. Seriously this wall with elixer Nerf made the game worse now. th8 are just farming for more and more gold and letting the extra elixer get out of the economy result?? no.elixer for th7. why? th7 HARDLY attack / th8

I wont buy any more gems following the recent price increases. They no longer represent value for money irrespective of the "whose fault" the increase was. Nothing to do with available loot in game, but if I continued buying gems Supercell wouldn't change anything, why should they? The only way the loot system in game can be broken is if it doesn't 'work' for Supercell. If players continue to buy gems there is nothing for Supercell to fix.

The sad truth about loot is that the people moaning about it are either impatient or rubbish at the game.

I have no issue with the upgrade cost or build times. I feel like the people here complaining are impatient and accustomed to instant gratification.

I've been playing long enough to almost max my th9 including walls and heroes.

I love that this game was designed to be a marathon not a sprint. That's why they have long term success and, in my honest opinion, the most complete mobile gaming experience up to this point.

im hitting dead bases in my trophy level. dark elixir in high quantities is scarce, as gold loot over 300K in one raid.

8-12m total means ~4-6m of each in 2hours boost, so ~2-3m in 1hour boost, 500-750k 1hour no boost, i'm actually doing better then that.

I think until th9 the average ressource output is OK, maybe even a bit too high at th9. I dont know about th10 yet, but I think at th10 it will be a bit too low.

The real Problem about loot is nexting. Bad loot does not mean that ressource Output is so bad. It is simply the amount of nexting that increases until it gets frustrating.

The only way to fix this is redoing the shield System. Average shield times should be lower at higher leagues, because Players are more active there. With too many attackers and all Players under a shield, only the worst targets get shown in the Queue to everybody.

Simple fix. Don't rush your town hall ahead of other upgrades to avoid the loot penalty. I have no issues with farming any resource I'm seeking.

Dunno what ur problem is OP but I'm a th9 a bit further along on the upgrade scale and I'm finding really good loot at 1700(WHERE ITS ALWAYS BEEN) with loonion and giant raids

My problems is that the loot is so inconsistent. I can't thrust the systems to give me a suitable base to attack in less then 5mins.

If loot would be too easy to find, the game would become boring. Maxing out wouldn't be an achievment anymore. Stop complaining and start farming instead.:eek:

I've been farming in the 1700-2000 range and I find 200k/200k/400 raids all the time. Maybe TH10s find it a lot harder but for th9 it's not as bad as people make it seem.
