Re adjust dragons

We all know that now that lots of clans in the middle range spam dragons in clan wars to win. There is something wrong when a premature rushed th7 is able to 3 star a maxed th7 by just lightning 1 ad and spam lvl 1 dragon. The reason why supercell haven't done anything yet is probably there are lots of problems with it. If they nerf dragons, then they will be useless in higher levels, but if they buff air defenses then it will screw up other air attacks. Dragons are the few troops that can 3 star bases alone, you don't see that when using all pekkas.
My idea is not to nerf lower level dragons, but to keep higher levels the same

Current:
Level 1: DPS: 140, HP:1900
Level 2: DPS: 160, HP: 2100
Level 3: DPS: 180, HP: 2300
Level 4: DPS: 200, HP: 2500
Idea:
Level 1: DPS: 110, HP: 1600
Level 2: DPS: 140, HP: 1900
Level 3: DPS: 170, HP: 2200
Level 4: DPS: 200, HP: 2500
This would allow other attack strategies to open but still allow dragons to be useful in higher levels

Something has to be done. With the over-abundance of elixir now, dragons are pretty much all anyone uses. At TH7 and 8 is pretty much a no-brainer 3 star. Boring and dull. Two air defenses cannot stop 8+ dragons. Three only can if the base has a very solid design.

I agree, besides most people say that dragons deserve it because they cost a lot of elixir to train and along time, the truth is that there is a lot of elixir compare to gold in the economy after the wall/elixir change, so most th8 and 7s would afford to spend 300k on dragons. And dragons only take 1 and a half hours to train if you have all barracks to level 9. It used to be fun when we didn't see dragons spamming because it encouraged people to lure out cc troops and worked on timing of the attacks. But because dragons have splash damage most cc troops get fry when they get close to dragons, the only cc troop that can work on dragons are lava hounds.
Sure dragons at high levels require strategies, but th7s and most th8s would get wrecked by lighitng one ad and firing away

Agree 100%. No skills, just lightning and dragons. Happens every clan war and I've tried dozens of base designs, try to force them around the outside, funnel into ad/archer/wiz towers etc. doesn't matter. I get lucky on the crazy spread out bases, and get a 99% 2 star once in a while. But that is rare. 10 dragons = 3 stars against th7&8. No skill, just dragons.

Dragons take extremely high skill! If done wrong they will go around the base and lose. Dragons are fine atm, they are probs going to get a nerf soon

it takes minimal skill at th7 and 8. Punch a hole in the ring of buildings with a dragon or bk or archers, lightning the best ad, and unload. Collect your 3 stars. As basic as it gets. Clan castle troops, timing, systematically attacking different phases of the base, none of that matters with 9-10 level 2 dragons and 3 even crappy lightning spells.

Th 7 I agree with - I am a th 8 who frequently uses dragons, you would be surprised how many raids I have lost becuase I deployed the dragons in the wrong spot

TH7 dragon attack is a no-brainer.
But at TH8 you do need to use dragons properly to 3-star, especially if that base has level 6 air defence.
So level 1 dragons need to be nerfed, but level 2 & 3 are fine.

I won't get into specifics like you, another possible solution is, since I have level 2 dragons at th7, they should give you the third air defense then vs. waiting until th8. Maybe with 3 ad's and a good design you can stand a chance. Something has to be done though. Th7 bases, even well designed ones with maxed ad's can EASILY be 3 starred with 10 level 2 dragons, plus clan troops and lightning. If they give you the dragons, they need to give you the ability to protect against them also.

But at th8 with AD666 you need some real skill.
Lvl1 drags can be nerfed. Other lvls are fine

3 air defence at TH7 would nerf other air attacks as well as dragons.

Maybe 1's and 2's since you can have 2's at th7. Third ad seems better to me but we are splitting hairs now.

Level 1 should be nerfed, two should be slightly nerfed, the the same and four buffed. I like the one by the guy with the green and black shield avatar named nf2335 on page 1

lvl 1s could use a slight nerf, lvl 2 is fine, 3 is good, and 4 is good. No real adjustments are needed
