Ivory Tower, Game Idea

Welcome to my new idea!

Lots of thought went into this and I'm glad I was part of it, which I know that doesn't make any sense so I'm going to stop talking in an intro, and get on with the idea.
Also, you're going to have to put up with little to no pictures, as in. None. If I get some pictures then I'll add them in. But i can't promise anything.


Ivory Tower needs help!

This adds a total of 60 new levels into the game. Remember at the start of the game, the Ivory Tower sent you five wizards to take out the first leveld of the goblin missions? Now they need you to return a favour.

The Ivory Tower was attacked, and they've only just managed to send you a message. The new enemy is dangerous and if they find out you are helping the ivory tower, they could come out and get you for it (this is just opening oppurtunities for this to go further in the future). But thats irrelevant, right now you're safe and capable to support your ally.

I'm not going to go in detail and explain each level.

Thats upto Supercell.

However, I will decide the reward.

The Market! The Ivory Tower market appears when you complete all the levels. Unlike the ruled out version of a market, you can not buy or change recourse with the other recourse, you still have to purchase with gems. And you can not trade it. The resource here is more resource, for less gems.
The market is unlocked alongside the PEKKA at level 60

You can also unlock maxed level troops that you can hire for a certain amount of time based on how many levels you have completed, they are completely free to hire, they just require that you complete the level needed to unlock them.
You also have a housing space for hiring troops.
You unlock one housing space per level. So 60 levels = 60 housing space.

Troop Unlocking Pattern
Barbarian: Level 5
Archer: Level 12
Giant: Level 16
Goblin: Level 23
Wallbreaker: Level 29
Balloon: Level 35
Wizard: Level 42
Healer: Level 47
Dragon: Level 54
PEKKA: Level 60

To start with all the levels will be pretty easy. But when the hire time of the troops run out, you have to go back and Recomplete the level to re hire them, every 5 times you complete the level it gets harder. Recourses only refresh every 36 hours, compared to the 24 hours you can hire troops for.

Thats really it. Short and sweet. New levels, added a kind of story mode possibility. A nice, simple and not game ruining market.

Well, is it only dragons from the market? Or is it all troops at different costs?

Because dragons is a very select group of raiders, I would have thought something like Wizards, everybody loves wiz. :p

All troops, they'll also be at max level. But it can be costly and you don't have them at your service forever.

Awesome idea! This would help connect the plot line of the story.;)

I might just me misinterpreting your idea, but....
what if the ivory tower market gives you troops and stays there for only 12 hours (example time). To get them back, you need to attack in one of the new single players that this unlocks. If the bases get progressively harder, then I think there would be a lot more attention on singleplayers than now, especially since it offers a very cool reward.

So is the point of this basically to add more single-player levels and then allow players to hire troops in seconds instead of having to train them? If so, how many troops can be hired at once? And how hard would the levels be? :) Or am I barking up the wrong tree? :rolleyes:

I kind of get what you are saying.

So if you say unlocked barbarians to hire at level 3, they stay with you for 12 hours. Then to get them again you have to defeat the same base again? But that base will be harder? So it refreshes every 12 hours.

Is that what you're saying or am I getting this all wrong.

You can hire as many of each as your Ally Camp can fit.

I'll as the Ally camp info onto the thing. The camp will be in the jungle, to upgrade you need to advance into the levels. The troops will then stay with you (when you raid and they die it'll just refresh with new troops, until the timer runs out)


Thats how I think I want to do it, not too sure.

Guess I was still debating what actually happens to the troops, and how it works in that sense. My only logical argument for the troops going into the army camp, not some new camp, is that is what the wizards did at the start of the game.

I like the idea of the troops just going to our normal army camps. We don't really need more housing space, especially if we can only hire troops for it some of the time... or can we hire more troops as soon as we've attacked and there's space for them?

No you can't. There is a limit. That can all be decided by supercell or by us having discussion. However I think maybe some kind of limit should be in place, you don't need to train these guys, they just appear. And stay with you for 12 hours. People can just mass raid constantly without worrying about troop loss or recourse loss.

Yea, pretty much. Maybe the loot in the single player base refreshes even slower (maybe 24 hours?) so that players are encouraged not to try get this too often?

This is pretty cool, Id love to see Supercell incorporate this. :D

I like what you did with the idea. As you can see from my location, I'm currently staying with the depressed wizards. They seriously need help. Larry's running mad over the place and goblins going crazy outside the tower.

On topic reply: At Ivory Tower, they sent down wizards to help you because they wanted to stay with you anyway. However the other troops wanted to stay home as they were already in a small amount of trouble. This escalated recently. Which is why they have finally summoned you.

On the market. The market is where you can buy recourse, to hire troops (as Emerald said) you have to defeat certain levels and to hire them again, you have to defeat that level again.
In the market the recourse costs gems, but is cheaper than normal. You get more resource for less gems. Which is a cool idea I think :)

Haha. I had to go and watch a youtuber go through the tutorial to find the name. :rolleyes:. Took a long time.

Do these hired troops die forever when they are killed in battle or they have a certain period for staying on your base (even if they die) and disappear when this timer ends? (Kinda like heroes without regen time).

I don't really agree to paying gems for a few troops which you get for beating a level.
To expand on your idea:
As you said, there are 60 levels, right?
After each level 1 housing space worth of "hirable" troops unlocks.
So if I have beaten level 20, I will have 10 housing space worth of hirable troops.
Also, these troops won't disappear even though they die in battle. Instead they will have a (2 hour?) timer after which they disappear from your base.
At the end of this timer, you have to beat the given level again to hire the troop.
So if I want to hire a golem, I have to beat level 60.
I may also hire 6 balloons instead, if I wish to, or 30 archers...etc.

I've abolished the gems on troop thing, does it still say it in the OP? I've gone for Emerald Rages and yours idea of having to beat a certain level to unlock.
You housing space idea seems pretty good.
That is pretty much what happens, until the timer goes you can keep on using them.
