Gems required to join a clan

A fee the leader can set for anyone who joins the clan the fee can range from 1-1000 gems 50% of profits go to leader and the other half would go to the "clan bank" all clan members can deposit gems into bank but only leader can pull out as many as he wants co leaders can pull out 100 a season and elders can pull out 10 a season

would create a good way for rules to be followed in a clan such as 300 donations for elder, more people would donate troops to become elder just so they can earn gems

would deprive hoppers of gems and more than likely would stop hopers from joining your clan and you would only get serious members in your clan with a gem fee set

this would be good way to make more money for supercell it would deprive all members of gems and gems given to ranking members would be happy and content with the gems they receive and stupidly blow them away making them want to buy more!


any thoughts or ideas?

You just want free gems, joîn req and leave would go outta business.

This is a terrible idea, it would just lead to people paying money and giving it straight to other strangers......infact I dislike this idea soooooo much i think it should be ruled out.

This is quite possibly the worst thing ive seen including the lightning rod and I really hate the lightning rod

I think you should also be able to change it to costing elixer,dark elixer, or gold

Giving gems would be too exploitable.
for example, I will create 49 free new accounts to enter my clan and stay there be "serious" and get gems. I will make one of the fake accounts leader and move leader position in a way that I can move the free gems I got. At the start of the game to my real account.

Heck no- if this was added to the game I would quit the game.

good in theory, bad in practice..... this is what i usually say, in this case:
bad in theory, bad in practice. i agree with what many are saying here, 'costing gems to enter a clan' - this is ludicrous! joining clans is part of the game hence the name 'clash of clans'

Some clans don't like hoppers. They can charge an entry fee. Others do, they have no entry fee.

I don't think any clans like hoppers but the way to minimise it is to set your clan to invite only. A hopper is less likely to wait to be accepted before requesting and leaving.

nobody cares for the hoppers the problem is that 99% of all clan leaders has an XP from 10 to 50
I know better way to your idea of stopping the hoppers becomming a clan leader or making your own clan should only be allowed at lv 100+ and not sooner
