I think you should be able to attack your own base to test it and keep all loot and trophies the same as well as keeping your troops.;)

this is a good idea man... but it has been suggested sooooo many times now
They are already considering adding an idea like this.
How could they even consider this? Person A Wants to practice his attack on his war target (or for a revenge) so they practice until they get all the loot or a 3 star, it wouldn't be fair.
