Well, I just had an idea, if upgrading walls takes notime, why does it need a builder...........it would be nice i you lovely people at supercell could make it so that upgrading walls can be done without a free builder. If there is a reason why this cannot be done please do state why or voice your own opinions good members of the clash community.

Because it takes no time for you, but in village time it's about 3 hours.

It actually used to be like that, but what everyone would do is dump all their gold into their walls right before logging off, which made it much more difficult to find any decent storage raids. Requiring builders to upgrade walls puts a pretty big penalty on that kind of behavior.
