cant say I do great with healers but the main thing is healer range of 5 tiles and air defence range of 10 tiles.
they work great with the archer queen and ranged units so im sure someone could find a great way to use that.
one healer on the archer queen could be devastating if used correctly, that gives you the range you need to dodge air defences but like you say those pesky air mines need clearing first.
I prefer a heal spell over an actual healer.
Spells can't be blown up the moment you drop them and provided I'm not too drunk I can pretty much chose which troops to heal (in contrary to that flying idiot)
