Spending real money

Some ppl refer to those that spend hard earned dollars on a game as crazy (or worse)! I myself am one of the crazy ones. This leads me to a rant that just came up for me today.

i normally spend a hundred or more each month, since I started a few months ago. Today I went to purchase my gems and had quite a shock...it's a 120.00 now for the 14k gems. Guess what? Not going to happen again!!! A 20% hike in cost at one time! Sry that's rediculous.

I know now some of you guys that have been playing since the beginning don't really like it that I am able to catch up so fast but my paying money has helped keep the devs going.

Not or any more tho, may even uninstall because of it. The temptation to spend is pretty strong for me ( I can afford to spend it) but I hate the fact that I have nothing

There's nothing wrong with being a spender, you guys are the ones that keep the game in business. SC isn't running this game just for funsies.

I think you're running through gems a little quick there, in my opinion you only really need them to boost spells and hero recovery times, that's all I do.

Try to play the game without gemming hardcore, or gem lightly. Might find a new way to enjoy it.

Gems have no value. You buying gems doesn't keep supercell in business, it keeps gem prices high. If nobody bought gems, supercell wouldnt stop clash they would just lower prices.

So this is across all apps and also a number of platforms...not just ios, for example. It relates to (VAT) tax and has not much at all to do with the developers. Basically, VAT needs to be paid in the country of the app buyer from what i can tell. Add to this fluctuations in currency markets and basically Apple and Google are hiking up the prices irrespective of what the devs want...

Anyway, if the new price is too much for you, spend less gems (and so buy less) or stop buying all together. I bought 2500 gems for builders but nothing else...My base rivals a lot of gemmers though...Hard work and crazy levels of play and all this can be yours too...once you get it though, you might wonder what to do with it #needmorecontent ;)

i buy 2500 gems a month and i use 40 gems per day to boost barracks.
that saves me 1300 gems each month that i just save up.

I suggest you buy less and save none...or save less at least...

I have over 7k gems from achievements etc with not much to do with them...they are not an investment, buy as little as you need an not any more since you can not get a refund if you ever get bored and stop playing...

Oh I know I use my gems to fast but I'm impatient and like to build up fast. The point is that they upped the cost twenty bucks in one shot. I'm a lvl 68 th9 now and happy at that but I like to boost like you mentioned.

my issue is value for money spent, 100 got 14000 gems but now it's 120.00 for the same amount of gems!

Uninstall away.. SC didn't do this, Europe put taxes on gems so talk to the EU about your game.

Then don't buy them. Supercell will lower prices or give more gems if nobody buys them.
