Th8 to TH9 in 2 days - Need suggestions

So, I finally maxed out and 2 days away from TH9. As you can see I didn't max out those bombs, which I think are too expensive at 2.5 million each from level 3 to level 5. King is also maxed.

I am planing to start building the X bows as soon as I reach Th9 and upgrade Lab, Archer Queen and a Army Camps.
1) Is it recommended to go for the two X bows at once or build a New Wizard and Archer Towers? I know raiding will be hard because of the loot penalty and initial weak troops to get to the storages. This is why I want to build the Xbows.
2) Which troop should I upgrade first. I Barch a lot with giants and WBs. Should I go for giants as level 6 giants are OP?
3) Do Th10s stomp into Th9s? Which is the best and safest trophy league to farm as a Th9?

1) I'd say both xbows because they're available for clan war as soon as you buy them :) the other buildings can wait and they require more time comparing it vs. what gives a lvl 1xbox
2) Id say Archers - Barbs - Giants. First things first I'm the realest :P
3) Ofc. But that only happens at higher leagues. I'd recommend you to stay there in gold III or silver I for a while. Then push a little for the DE :D Edit: Your gold storages are too close. I would attack you through the left side and smash those 3 storages plus a TH 9 with his queen would probably get the DE, but don't worry it's just temporary. Spread them more like a triangle, move one storage to the right

Thank you so muchmuch :) Yes, I do get hit a lot from the left . This is just a temparory setup to protect DE. I put my Eloxir storages outside as it was overflowing and thought most people would leave after getting the Elixir. It really worked. Most of the th9s didn't bother getting towards gold or DE :D

Prepped the same as you. With five builders I went
1) xbow
2) xbow
3) SF( brew 3 spells prior to upgrade)
4) Lab
5) new walls (can't remember what level though), new defenses , storages, then raided with the AQ for a bit. Before logging off put her down for lvl2 upgrade.

I chose barbs first in the lab. Cheapest upgrade plus they provide a little better tanking for the archers. I just don't see the wow factor in lvl6 archers. 6m cost for a couple dps/hp increase? I believe they may survive a higher level mortar hit, but man it just don't look good on paper. Anyway, I have giants in the oven now and will probably go balloons next.

I slowly climbed up into crystal III. The league bonus almost covers your barch plus there's plenty of TH8s in G1 you'll still prey on. Loot penalty is minimal and honestly haven't been affected by it. You may want to watch the nexting costs now since we're spending 750 a click. I'm for one that likes to keep 1m in the bank for a rainy day.

Get the queen quickly. she helps out so much. upgrade barch and giants first as well. get the newest wizard tower up to level 6 ASAP otherwise you have a weak side. Then upgrade mortars, those are pretty cheap and are a big help

I suggest archer queen asap, lab and then lvl 6 giants asap, both xbows asap, and then catch up all the new things u get like the additional cannon and archer tower........ work on your xbows to level 3 as much as you can as they are the most expensive and time consuming defensive upgrades at th9. Another top priority should be maxing both dark elixir drills to level 6 asap as you will have MANY dark elixir upgrades at town hall 9, archer queen, troops etc and those drills help huge.....2 maxed de drills give 4800 de per day. I always like to do the most expensive upgrades first to get them out of the way, and then work my way towards the cheapest ones.

One very important factor to remember at town hall 9 is to almost always have one builder designated to heros.....you should basiclly have one builder working on heros at all times, the goal would be level 20 or higher heros before moving to town hall 10.

Level 9 is my favorite town hall level so far despite the very expensive and time consuming upgrades, this is when your troops get really good and your heros can steamroll peoples bases.

Archer queen is a real game changer

Bet he was in crystal before he dropped down to gold.. higher you got the more dde u get..

You should be alright. Bombs are a 1.1 million to upgrade from level 3 to 5, instead of 2.5 million. It's not a big deal to not upgrade them, though.

last time i went to cristal they took my DE left and right wonder if those outside storages work
