Why is there a lot of people got banned recently?

Does that mean SC only starts doing their job banning people only recently and did nothing about it before?

Edit: By getting banned, i mean got banned from the game, not forum.

People are always being banned, maybe recently it's jumped up. But I believe a software, that I want mention as I don't want to break any rules, was recently updated. Maybe it made it easier for SC to track down on it.

Because people have done stupid things recently.

I don't think that the current percentage of players getting banned is much more than before, however the number coming onto the forums to ask about it is.

there most likely is an increase of overall bans (however not a large one) because of the ability to save bases, I have seen many that are intended to be insulting and people are able to save these and switch between them and their regular base, if the offensive bases are screenshotted then the fools making them are getting banned.

i see, that is probably the case.

but considering someone very trustworthy got banned twice in a row (http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...r-2-days-again)

or someone got banned twice for only one mistake

i think that SC need to improve their banning system.

SC choose to ban people, not an automatic system.

by system i don't only mean system as a program, but how they do it.

Their system is set up so that when they get a report, Sc support team has to sift through and determine whether or not it is ban worth and if so, for how long.


With the new layout system, people are thinking its way easier to troll the enemy during war and set up mildly offensive and inappropriate bases. Hence they get banned during Battle Day and come here to complain.

Idk why aTh and other honest people have been banned, but its the way the dice rolls until SC support can handle the amount of reports thrown at them.
