Anyone have a rough idea of how big the Champions league is in terms of players? I know it's fluid but the way people talk on here gives the impression that it is not a massive pool of guys (and gals).

I once saw a stat that said Champ was 0.2% of the total payer base but I have no idea where I saw that and whether or not it's true.Quote:

The player pool does get drastically smaller the higher in champ you go though.

It depends on how SuperCell estimated 0.2%. Any reasonable gaming company does analysis based on active players. Churned players are analyzed separately for re-activation campaigns.
Anyway, hard to know, and 20,000,000 is probably a low estimate by now. I would estimate...
Between 50,000 - 100,000 active players in champions.
