Is it worth it to max your collectors?

I know that you can get 432k per resources a day from maxed collectors, but how do I go about maxing them? Most of my gold collectors are at lvl 8 and most of my elixir collectors are at lvl 7.

Should I just bite the bullet and use all 5 of my builders on them now? Or do it sparingly over the next couple months?

there's a similar thread created earlier, hope they would merge it, IMHO, if you're always online, then go for it, max your collectors

but if youre gonna number crunch, you need to put in your projection as well the possible amount of resources that could be stolen from you as having maxxed collectors makes you a magnet for farmers

Which TH level are you?

i would recommend upgrading them before you get to TH8 as loot becomes harder to find then.

Depends how much you play... If your raiding a lot daily then you can leave them for now. If not, and you rely on the income from collectors then upgrade them. If the first one, I would concentrate on your defences first then max collectors before moving to next th. that's what I'm doing. Leaving them till last then using all builders to max them whilst th upgrades.

With a 12 hour shield unbroken, assume you collect it frequently so it doesnt overflow, its gonna be 36,000 in 12 hours, thats about 72k a day, NOT counting attacks on you or attacks by you or effeciency boosts.

If you've already maxed your defenses and other important things, then you might as well put your builders to work. It's always nice to have more income.

Ive already maxed Wiz towers, mortars, and cannons at th8. Im doing teslas and archer towers now.

Collectors are worthwhile and the earlier you make the investment the greater the long term return. Even if you don't want to devote all your builders to them, it's good to keeps couple going on collectors. If nothing else, this means fewer defenses out of commission at any given time due to upgrades and a stronger base defense as you develop.
