Two Clan ideas:

There are two idea that I think that maybe should be implement into clans which are Clanless search (to help clan leaders to recruit more members) and Clan War opt-in (to make that only players who want to war goes to war).
1. Clanless member search:
EDIT: Due to confusion , I changed the name from Clanmate search , to Clanless members search.
Clan leaders would want a more active way of recruiting members, so this idea would allow them to search for more members to join your clan. There two ways for clan leaders to search for:
A. Criteria Search
Next to the ‘My Clan’ and ‘Search Clans’ tab, there would be an additional tab called ‘Search for Clanless members’. The leader would use criteria search (e.g. trophies, town hall, experience level) and it would search for 20 clanless members that are fits the criteria. If there are none, then the search looks for the 10 available players. The clan leader can check their profile and can invite them to join their clan.
B. League Search
This would be similar to the My League page. The Clan Leader would choose a league to look for members, and it would look for 20 clanless members in that league. The clan would invite any members that would benefit the clan.
Benfit:
It would allow clan leaders to active search for more members, rather than using passive ways for recruitments. This would mostly benefits smaller clan (below 15 members) who may struggle getting clanmates against the more developed clans.
This isn’t the same as the ruled out idea: *Player search function
But rather this idea allows the clan leader (and co and elders) to search for clanless members. Unlike the ruled out idea which is based on search players by their name, this search would be based on their level.
2. Clan war opt in (or out) feature:
This is one of the most requested ideas, and SuperCell should maybe consider implementing this idea as lots of players serious about war would think it would a useful feature along with heroes always being available during war.
Every time the league start all players are ineligible for war. To make themselves for war they would have to opt in for the clan wars. This would reduce the inactive clan members in war. If later they do not want to be part of war they could opt out of clan wars (and opt in later if they change their mind). The clan leader has the ability to opt out member (but can’t opt in members) from war. The leader could choose if co-leader (or even elder) could have the ability to opt out members. However, there is a limit as the leader could only opt-out a maximum of 5 members from war.
Benefits:
This would allow clan leader to opt out members from war, and allow the clan members to choose if they want to war or not. This would reduce the amount of inactive in war (as everyone is automatically opt out during war).
Cost:
It could be complex for a suitible way to opt in or out. Also some clan would only take their best members to war, and leave out everyone out.

EDIT: I posted too quickly

number 1 is a decent idea but needs some tweaking because some aspects of it are similar to some ruled out ideas such as level as part of a clans criteria. Forgive me for not reading

number 2 has plenty of thread and the statement given by supercell pertaining to it is that its not being considered. This is an older statement though

There aren't listed ideas, but are just two related ideas. And the reason why listed ideas are bad is because they are not detailed, these ideas are detailed.

Its not a list, its 2 ideas with a good amount of detail

They're working on the opt in and opt out. Also, why do u need to search ur clanmates? If they're kicking ppl out then it's ur fault.

Sorry for the ambiguity, the clanmate search idea was use to recruit new members rather than getting back the old members. I'll edit the post.

read the idea, he even specifies that its not what you think it is. It is a recruitment tool

Like the first idea. However the second you could have added to a past post instead of creating a new one, they're more likely to see one post with 1,000+ replies then 100 posts with 10 replies.

EDIT: I change name of the clanmate search to clanless member search, to prevent confusion.
