First Idea Req :D

Hello,
(I checked the ruled out and non ruled out thread and I don't think I found any of these in there. If I did let me know)
I am here to express new ideas that I think would make clash of clans better.

So if I could explain my ideas in one word, Id say gems and weather. So If you wanna leave the thread, nows your time.

I got these ideas from Supercells other popular game, Boom Beach.

My first idea gives free gems, and that is Gem Chests. Now most of you will probably say:

Thats true but what Im saying is instead of having gem boxes. Have gem chests that spawn like in the maps of boom beach and give 2-5 gems. This would be a very nice feature to have.

Second Idea also comes from Boom Beach.

Gem Rewards.

I was hoping whenever you cause a certain amount of casualties to an attacker, you get a 1-2 gem reward. This would also be a nice feature. And I think I know what most forum users would say to this idea.

Welp..

Gem chests: ??? you didn't explain any difference between these and gem boxes
Gem rewards: You get loot as a reward, also if you got even 1 gem per 'casualty'.. (I'm assuming this is in defense) you would have five builders by TH6.
Weather: suggested numerous times.. other than the ruled out thread, please also check out the search bar and add any feedback/discussion on preexisting threads

Gem Chests spawn more frequently but hold less gems.
Gem rewards: You get loot as a reward, also if you got even 1 gem per 'casualty'.. (I'm assuming this is in defense) you would have five builders by TH 6. You dont get loot from winning a defense. But no i mean cause enough casualties and you get 1 gem. Cause more you get 2 gems. Not a gem per troops killed.

I know. I said it in the post I got most ideas from boom beach. And look I just want to give Ideas just incase supercell might be looking for some. I suggest it not really giving ideas because I like boom beaches system of free items better than clash. Cause even with clash you are not always guaranteed gems from obstacles while boom you are.

Why would SC make Clash of Clans like boom beach? The best part about SC is the diversity of their games. There are plenty of ways to get gems, and every way we get free gems SC loses money from people who would buy small amounts of gems for whatever purpose. I'm sorry but I have to disagree to this thread. Achievements, removing obstacles, gem boxes, are all enough ways for me to farm gems.

I knew there would be a post like this. But Im not saying make Clash completely like Boom Beach. Just use one or two features.

Personally, I think that supercell tries to make each game the company creates unique, so this would go against that.

Thanks for re-iterating my point. :) it's bad enough they're making boom beach like CoC, if they make CoC like boom beach..,, *boom* *death* *mindsplosion*

Boom beach has not, and I doubt ever will, been the top grossing app in the App Store.

Because of that, they are required to "bribe" their players to play more or continue playing.

I play Boom Beach and I only do so as something to do when I'm bored and I'm waiting on troops to build on my CoC.

It's not nearly as fun because of the many differences and features. I stick around more frequently so I can get the free diamonds and I'll start an upgrade.... overall, it's just not as fun....

That's not exactly true. Just because SC gives us free gems doesn't mean that we would have otherwise spent money on gems. SC giving away gems in boxes, achievements etc. literally cost them nothing, so they aren't losing money in that regard either.

Yes, I realize that a lot of people want to get something for nothing, but there is a middle road too... If SC would give me a discount when I boost all 4 of my barracks at once for example, I'd consider boosting them more, costing me gems and money.

Im not saying make Clash like boom, just simple tiny little things can make the game better. So any game using weather is copying another game with weather? Or with free items?

You cant rack of 500 gems to finish an upgrade in a week, it still takes a lot of time to rack of enough gems to finish an upgrade.

Neither will clash. And they don't need to "bribe" their players since they are now running tv ads. And okay you can think Boom is not fun and is boring, but other people say otherwise.
