Town Hall 11? New Resoure? New Game!

Supercell's next few updates are going to be crucial to its future success and long term growth of this game in my opinion.

What I mean by this?

This game can certainly be around for many years to come... BUT... a big change needs to be made sooner rather than later. I have been playing this game since November 2012 and have been fully maxed now for quite some time. I have farmed, made champs, pushed, warred, completed goblin maps, etc.. etc... The game was always packed with excitement, and rewards for completing achievements etc... The feeling you get when you finally reach champs or upgrade that last defense or wall is great. But, I am now fully maxed, completed almost all of the achievements, our clan has won over 20 wars in a row with 110+ wins, i have made it to 4300+ trophies... my gold grab is 2 billion...What is left?

I realize I am one of very few players to have reached this point in the game. My point of saying all of this is that every player in this game will at some point reach this situation if they keep farming hard and upgrading their base etc... and then they will be faced with the question I am faced with every time I turn the game on... what now?

Currently I have not much to do other than war in the game.

What can we do to keep this game fun for many years to come for EVERYONE? That is the question.... and that is what I think Supercell needs to nail in these next few updates... The game needs some fireworks... the time is now!

I think that with TH 11 should come an expansion to the village's area... if they put anything new like defenses or walls than the physical room in the village won't be enough anymore.
With such an update you could theoretically go on forever with the game... adding in the future new defences, traps ad so on.

About troops, more than the addition of new ones, I would love to see an evolution of the existing ones...like special hits for wizards or dragons... one more level for whiches for sure. Something special hit for pekka...
The possibility to make something special with archers or barbarians, like grouping them up with "special group skills".

There are billions of possibilities, I just hope SC will exploit them properly

^This. It's also nice having choices: if you're a TH10 and all you have left is a few lingering lab upgrades (for troops you hardly use) and walls, that's not really fun anymore. For completionists? Sure. But right now I'm TH9 and enjoy the fact that I'm choosing what to prioritize and where to put my builders next. Once I hit TH10 I know the choices start to diminish as I do those final upgrades, and that sounds boring...

Maybe you missed it: They added new levels to the collectors in the last update. Those levels are only available at TH8+, so you're going to see that loot starting to increase as people get those collectors upgraded. I wouldn't be surprised to see another level added for TH9 or TH10 in the near future either.

The attitude is kind of amazing, I wonder if people had these same short-sighted thoughts when talk of TH10 first started happening. "ZOMG NO, NO LOOT, NOT MAXED OUT YET, LET ME ENJOY MY PEACEFUL SERENITY AS A MAX TH9". Really??

So, I have a weird idea for the next big thing in Clash of Clans. They should do Clash of Clans 2 but it STARTS with TH10 stuff (like art etc) but that is COC 2's TH1. All the upgrades drop down to cheap levels and then you can build up to like TH20 except the art is now future themed!

Maybe you missed it: They added new levels to the collectors in the last update. Those levels are only available at TH8+, so you're going to see that loot starting to increase as people get those collectors upgraded. I wouldn't be surprised to see another level added for TH9 or TH10 in the near future either.

I knew you would resort to abuse. Well I'm done with this thread, it's getting stupid and people are getting angry.

There's enough things to flesh out for TH10, and with the glacial pace of updates these days it will be some time before that's all done. For example level 13 cannons (ugh - level 12 AT was enough), a TH10-only dark troop, who knows what else maybe level 7 de drill, level 3 witches, level 5 healers, or something equally useless.

Personally I was TH7 when TH10 was first released, and now I'm fully maxed TH10 except walls and heroes - I'm having enough fun playing occasionally, with no desire to farm hard for walls or heroes, I certainly have no desire at all to go to TH11 whatever that might be, maxing TH10 defenses and troops was enough grind for one lifetime!

interesting, they probably release more dark troops into th10 before th11 though, just imo

I like the idea of adding new features to the game; something fun that does not take a lot of grinding. I'm not ready for TH11 and I won't be in a long time. I'm almost finished maxing out my TH10 but walls and heroes, and I would like to be able to enjoy attacking with whatever troops I want to, without having to worry about spending my resources. I also like clan wars and I lhave to limit myself to once a week so I can finish my upgrades.

I think that SC needs to give new and exciting directions to the game that do not involve a lot of upgrading.

They have a lot more to be done with de before ever considering a new resource. Even once de troops are done andhero's maxed I'd not want any more resources to worry about.

I'd like 3 squares to be added to each side of the board + 25 new walls. (But no new level YET)
