Where is the elixir?

So yes we've heard a lot of times that elixir walls won't be brought back. Also we've heard many complains of TH 8s with full elixir. And I wonder, where is the elixir?

It's been a while since the last update, I suppose everything should be normal now? I never thought my gold storages would be filling faster than my elixir storages, which is nice for defenses but not for lab upgrades. I should be squeezing those full elixir storages yet I come across with a storage raid of 300k gold and 30k elixir... I try not to use spells and my army comp costs less than 80 k elixir. I dropped down to silver I as a TH 9 a few days ago now I'm in crystal and it seems to be the same everywhere! Or where is the leaking point?

I've just arrived to TH 10 and all my builders are busy so I don't need resources currently. I have never used pure barch for league bonuses yet, is that the answer to all my prayers?

I'm not saying I can't gather elixir and that it all should be handed to me, because I will eventually get it, although slowly. I'm simply asking why isn't more elixir available in matchmaking?

Go to sub-200 league. A lot of th8 with 150k loot available for th10.

Copious amounts of elixir from G1 downwards

Want elixir you have to go to crystal 2 and up. Im currently at 2780 trophies. Im completely finished with elixir upgrades including Lvl 7 giants. I loot 2-3 million elixir per day if I have time, and dump it all on walls

Barch or Bam will definitely help. The less elixir you waste on your army the more of it you can save. But you are right, gold does seem to accumulate much faster than elixir even with the cheapest of armies.

By the way, Barch is your savior!! You can find many dead bases and active ones you can easily 1 star to keep you in the league you want to be in. Carry a few wallbreakers also

I'm a TH 8, the last attack i received i offered 80k Gold 300k Elix, 2k DE, and got sniped.

Since I have nothing to do with the lix I am doing all Drag armies for precious 2k+ DE raids.

You just started a new TH level, and as you know, that's when you need a ton of elixir, so i'm sure it feels worse than it is. I see so much elixir at g2-g1 its silly. Of course most of the elixir is in the TH 8's, but even half of 300k is pretty good for an easy fight.

I offer max elixir all the time, as you can't spend it fast enough at TH8, no matter what you do or what troops you use. I get sniped most times, unless I start getting my DE storage up to 1k offering or so, then somehow a TH9 with raid troops instantly finds me..

I took it all. Sorry, but it's all in my walls now. ;)

Seriously, well I did seriously take a lot of it, but my gold always has and still does increase faster than my elixir.

From my understanding of sub 200 up until reading your post, I've always heard that sub 200 was potentially great for TH 8, rough but profit-able for TH 9, and pointless for TH 10. You sub-200 farm as a TH 10?

This must mean that I'm in the golden spot for farming...I've never had problems with elixir in my range.

It's sitting in the overflowing storages of my base. Come take some.

im an almost max th8.. i tried down there.. i'll never go back down there again, they're crazy
you'll get attacked like 5 times in a minute and they're just dropping troops until one guy comes to take all of your loot

th8's won't survive down there
only a well upgraded th9-10 will!

On topic:
i got all the elixir
that's why you all find raids with 300k gold and 1000 elixir from th because i stole it all from every one :)

Mmm you need to be really active to stay there, I'm not going to be able to do so :/. Also most of the forumers have said that it's better at crystal/masters league.

Ok I'll try to push and see what I can do. EDIT: I did the math and what separates my army from barching are precisely these wbs. Barch with 100 barbs and 120 archs costs 55 k and my army costs 79 k. However if I add 8 wbs to barch, it ends up as 71k elixir!! Then it becomes less efficient :/

As a TH 9, I wouldnt have bothered attacking you since you don't offer much gold and I'm not really focusing on DE right now. Unless your elixir storages were really exposed.

Your gold is full AND you aren't barching. When you barch is costs less elixir to create and army, but you must spend more gold to find the base to barch. The use of the next button is a huge gold sink, that you are not using to both gt rid of gold and find the elixir.

Try this. HAve your army ready however you normally do it, and just look at bases for a while where you are, attack none of them. Sure you are wasting gold, but you are getting a feel for where you are. See if there is enough elixir in your trophy range to keep you there and decide if you should go up or down, or maybe just search more often.

Also consider, how much does your army cost, how much do you need to get back to make a profit? Do you really need to 3 star the base or will 2 stars be enough to profit? These kind of RTS's have a huge math component in them that when you find the right equation for yourself, ir will be all fun and games. :)

I don't really know what should I answer. Should I apply what you say right when I get to crystal? Or how do I "taste" every league if there's a 800 cup difference between crystal and masters II? Nonetheless I appreciate your comment, never tried that thing of checking the league without attacking.

My army costs 79 k elixir so I might probably slow it down. It's been a while since I've 3starred a base, and it was an easy TH 8.

Well all the th8s have full storages...of course most of that is now in the walls of th9s lol.

I'll tell you where the elixir is, sitting in my full th9 storages cause I have no builders.
