When you want it to happen, it doesn't
I understand where you're coming from... you want to make a funny statement and really don't mean to offend anyone... and with the ability to have different war base layouts, you'd like to throw the attacker of your base off his game by giving them less time to analyze your "real" base before war day starts.
We don't allow these types of "troll" bases at all - for similar reasons that happened with the OP... what if the person forgets to change it back, etc (which has actually happened). We kicked a potential decent recruit because he forgot to change his base before war.
However, some folks take this to extremes (not the OP, btw). We had a new person join the clan yesterday, and with a war starting shortly after he arrived, he was high enough to be in. His war base was "glitched" as some say... there were some buildings directly on top of other buildings. Well, in our clan, we don't allow troll bases of any kind so we asked him to change it. And guess what he changed it to? Yep, another troll base... however this one had some very offensive language in it - I, nor half the clan thought it was funny. "F" word and all the rest of it... anyway, we asked him to change it again, and of course you can guess what followed... a bunch of expletives and name calling... ultimately we were forced to kick him out.
In our case, we'd love to get this person banned for 2 days, but we're going to be punished as a clan anyway... open TH, and defenses haphazardly strewn about. And like the OP said earlier... we'll lose 2 of our attacks. It kinda sucks because the current clan we're facing is actually a decent clan, as opposed to the last 5 or 6 which are all just "war farming".
I know there's lots of things we can do as a clan to avoid these types of people... don't allow new people in the first war, more stringent guidelines etc etc... but in all honesty, in the hours leading up to war, aside from a couple childish comments from this person that weren't offensive by any means, we had no idea it would turn out like it did.
My point? When you want the ban to happen, it doesn't... and vice versa.
Anyway, thought I'd share my 2cents story.
Hammer
I would just like to point out that...
the word "sucks" is starred out in global, so i can see why it would cause a ban...most likely most words starred out in global if not all if screenshotted would be banned, maybe not email though... but possibly, cuz supercell wants to protect the unknowing player from sharing their email via their base =)
