I had used a southern teaser during my push to champ. The most major weak spot is the sides, I had even gotten 3-starred with a southern teaser because the attacker had attacked from the right side of my base.
Southern teasers have a few major features
1. One very open ended side, featuring the majority of defense and buildings
2. A less defended but heavily warred other side
3. Kinda a feature, but more a warning, I would only use this at high th9 to th10 as there is simply not enough firepower at any lower th.
Southern teasers are made in the idea to tease people into attacking into a trap. The trap being the side with more defense. It isnt recommended in war as the purpose is for the opponent to quickly decide a side and make mistakes, with analysis they tend to fail. Teaser bases have now evolved into making one side looking harder than the other in a deceptive manner.
