Should I upgrade to TH9?

Hello all, I am in confusion whether I should upgrade all of my troops and walls or upgrade to TH9. Suggestions please.

It wouldn't hurt to get some de upgrades done like minions or hogs first so you can focus on the queen at 9. Get some walls done as well, but I wouldn't hesitate to move forward if you want to

Finish your elixir research, resource collectors and as many walls as you can in the timeframe.

Upgrade your Dark troops then you can go to Town Hall 9!

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, getting close to a maxed TH8 (a few defenses still need finished, around 130 lv8 walls). What I'll be doing is as many lab upgrades, buildings and walls as I can, but will be moving on to TH9 when my elixir storages and de storages are starting to overflow. If you stay to do all your walls or all your research, definitely they will be overflowing.

To me it doesn't make sense to fully max everything and waste resources by continuing to farm while elixir and DE are completely full with hardly anything to spend it on. There will be plenty of hero upgrades to spend DE on at TH9, loads of new building upgrades to put elixir into, plus walls you can start putting elixir into. Seems to me TH9 is the best place to sit for a while and really take the time to max everything out. You can put both your gold and elixir into those high level walls so none of your farming will go to waste.
