New Trap - The Stinky Sock

Meet the new defense - The Stinky Sock!
Sick of stupid invaders destroying your builder huts, torches, and flower beds? And are you sick of having putrid socks? The wizards came up with a compromise, hiding a sock on a spring, causing the sock to spring up when enemies come nearby! Genius!

It takes up a 1x1 space
Damage: 5 (small splash)
Activation Radius: 4 Tiles
Splash Radius: 2 Tiles
Special Quality: After the initial damage, troops unlucky enough to smell the sock will permanently be cursed with "Death By Stench", and will be instantly defeated (only kills five random troops within the radius)
Description: Slay you foes in the worst possible way: Death by Stench! This fetid sock is launched out from the ground and explodes in a terrible odor cloud, quickly wiping out your enemy invaders!

This sock is excellent for placing near your builder huts, so enemies coming to destroy your huts are wiped out by the smell!
This sock can't wipe out pekkas due to their noseless face
This sock can hit air troops!

If the sock was colored, t would be dark grayish with green stink lines protruding from it

Uh, I think this guy is overly bored...

The stats are decent though poison (or other things like it) is ruled out...

Dahimi's is a smart satire on the countless number of lightning rod threads. A lot different than a thread about a sock as a weapon, but nevertheless I think this is quite amusing as well. ;)

I think he means the sock that causes a lightning spell to rain down stinky socks that instantly destroy buildings, making it extremely easy for retched zappers (well actually sockers in this case XD), to easily obliterate our precious builder huts that we spend so long to protect.
