Hey all,
All my elixir researches are done for TH8 except Pekka 3 but I haven't done any DE researches yet.
I have about 2.5 mil Elixir and 30K DE.
My BK is already at L10, so I'm wondering which one should I go for 1st and which one will likely be easier/faster to get the remaining amount needed.
You will often use both together so just pick one and take the plunge.
Get all your de things up. Especially your golems and minions. Minions help when you do balloon attacks and when farming. I'm a th9 and use minions all the time, but my golems are only lvl 1 because I don't use the. Get your lava hounds up when you get them.
Whatever you raid with.
If you WAR frequently and use gowipe, then upgrade Golem first to level 2 (since i assume you already have level 2 Pekka).
If you focus more on farming, upgrade whatever troops you use the most like Barbs , Archers, Loons or Minions.
Depends whether you get 6 million elixir or 60000 de first, you will do both eventually
if you have a large amount of DE do the DE upgrade
Might as well do pekka, as any dark you already have, and for quite a few days can all go into heroes.
You wont have the luxury of that spare dark again, might as well take advantage.

Golem, both are war staples but you should dump the DE first, then do the PEKKA.

It depends. If you're using GoWiPe, I'll go with PEKKA first, if not, no.
Rock beats knife, do golem.
I am TH8 and i frequently use gowipe in the wars. I highly recommend that you upgrade the pekka as soon as you can. The golem is just a meatshield with a bunch of health. And yes you should upgrade him also, but the dps bonus from the pekka is going to be much more effective than an hp bonus on the golem. The pekkas drive thru walls much faster with more dps. All that health is meaningless if you cant destroy the defenses in time.

Golem lvl 1 is enough vs any TH8 base. Get that Pekka to lvl 3 first. Even lvl 1 Pekka will 2 star every TH8, but the lvl 3 will help you get the 3rd star more easily.
Thx guys, ended up going with Pekka 3 since I was able to farm enough elixir quickly, but Golem 2 is next after this.

Good choice. The lvl 3 Pekka will make a much bigger difference at TH8 than the lvl 2 Golem, as I mentioned in my post :)
P.E.K.K.A. level 3 is awesome...most TH8s get their P.E.K.K.A. 3 before going to TH9 but not many upgrade their golems. Don't ask me why
