Recruiting questions

Hey guys a group of us left a successful clan to start our own. We currently have 10 members but some of them we aren't to thrilled with but we keep them on board just so we are able to start wars. All the reading I've done does makes it seem not to easy to get quality players to stick around.

Ive made a recruitment thread on the clan war sub forum.

I don't think its bad but I'm not professional that's for sure. Does anyone have some tips I can try? I'm not looking for an easy way or anything just want to continue to grow the clan and make it successful. Thanks for any help.

Have a very clear idea of the kind of clan you want and kind of recruits you want. Be patient and persistent, starting a new clan takes time. Try to think of some things that make your clan different from a lot of others that are recruiting. Push that idea in your recruiting thread. Your recruiting thread probably won't get much attention at first but stick with it, update it regularly, and the recruits will start to trickle in. Look at some of the most visited recruiting threads for other tips. Keep updating your win/loss record as you go so people can tell what you're doing is working.

Try to give people a reason to keep reading your recruiting thread!

Just be clear onthe typr of people you want in your clan, and if you have any requirements STICK TO THEM! I've rejected many 80+ clans because they had a lv50, if someone requests dont accecpt because its an extra body. Definately asleader you need to be actively hunting for members, and if you have anyone you can trust in time as a co make sure they'lre ding their part as well.

Define yourself more, make some requirements for joining and stick with them. Set goals for the clan, have games...make it fun. Set a minimum age. These sort of things make your clan more attractive.

Go to the creativity section and ask for help with a good layout design for your recruitment thread. Make it stand out a bit more.

But ut mostly be active, look on global ( carefully) and start working the clan section of the forum...you will grow steady and strong.

As as of right now I'm not exactly sure what I want as far as requirements. I feel like as long as I can I have members that are active, mature, cooperate and communicate we will have a good time and still win wars. We have 4 total leaders and I have been put into the recruitment role, which I gladly took. We have all agreed on the above about what we want. To us it would be fun to have low lever players who try hard, want to learn, want to help, etc and help them grow along with cooperatively winning wars.

Im not sure that makes any sense at all but maybe that can help you guys direct me a bit further.

For the OP, a good bit of the issue is that it doesn't seem like you guys have decided exactly what type of clan you want to be. You have in your recruitment thread that you war often as possible. What does that mean? Are you seriously a non stop war clan? That usually doesn't last too long as folks get burned out and can't find the time to upgrade their heros. That also doesn't seem compatible with training new guys. Do you plan to war once a week, twice? Any weeks off for upgrades?

BTW, what is the age range of your current members? And what is the deal with clan leader. Is there one specific person that will always be leader or are you passing it back and forth?

Use your clan description wisely; state your war schedule, min. Troops required, min. Exp/TH lvl if necessary, age range (adult etc), activity lvl and set goals for ranks if you prefer.
