Interesting Sentence in the Terms of Service

After Playing CoC for little over a year, i decided to give the term of service a look. I was surprised to find this;

"SUPERCELL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE ANY ACCOUNT THAT HAS BEEN INACTIVE FOR 180 DAYS."


Now i'm not going to give my opinion on this-i have one, believe me! I'm also NOT encouraging anyone do the same because last time there was a discussion about the removal of (inactive) bases the thread was shut down.

Just thought this is a timbit of information not every will know ;p

(Yes i realize that it says "RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE" not "WILL TERMINATE)

Lol that's always been there. Just because you didn't see it until now doesn't make it any more or less interesting than it always was :rolleyes:


Btw almost all games have a disclaimer like that. Doesn't mean they necessarily act on it but it reserves the right to.

I kind of assumed that most games have disclaimers. Just sparked my interest given only a few months ago there was many heated arguments over the topic! I hadn't been finding much 'middle ground' (Proving or Dis-Proving) about inactive bases being removed!

You are incorrect. There are no interesting sentences in the Terms of Service.

Only sc knows for sure what exactly happens to inactive accounts im afraid. But once in a while you find one thus it suggests they just get pushed back not removed as such.

Strange... I've never heard of an inactive that got deleted? I had an alt I started in June 2013 and didn't log back on until August 2014, and it wasn't deleted.
