Advice with GoWiPe army comp - mid champs league

Need advice on army comps. I've using GoWiWi at 3600-3700 but for some reason it isn't good enough. I just do all the cr4p perfectly and fail raids whereas noobs not luring etc get better results with GoWiPe. The searching is hell as you know and I really don't want to keep doing stuff well and fail, its awful. I've been told GoWiPe is the way to go.

I've been wondering the best army comp for GoWiPe. Was thinking 3 Golems 1 Pekka 12 Wizards 16 wb's 4 barbs and 5 archers? If I am to put 2 Pekka, or eventually 3, what should i change?

My spells are 2 rage 2 freeze 1 jump as I always lure cc... until I find it unlurable and get screwed. Change jump to lightning using GoWiPe? Still lure cc?

Maxed troops and spells (besides lightning lvl 5 lol) and heroes lvl 32

I've only been to just over 3600 myself, but I find a few less WB and something specifically to lure out the CC helps a lot. 16 WB is loads if you are carrying jump - I usually run with around 9 (which is 3 level 10+ walls, so you can't afford to lose many if any). Certainly never more than 12 WB for me.

I used to use up to 4 hogs for CC lure, but have recently changed to 4-6 giants instead (once I got level 7 giants). Either way, I find that you need a strong ground troop to lure the CC fully, not balloons, because lots of people now have 1-2 balloons (or more) in their CC, and nothing ruins your raid faster than loon droppings on your pekka / king with your AQ/wiz out of range. For example I recently tried no lure and 4 valks, with a lightning, and very quickly lost a lot of raids when 'loons came out...

I've also just today switched to 4 golems, and 2 jump spells (1 rage, 2 freeze - some use 2 rage 1 freeze), which I've seen used very effectively against me and in limited use it seems really good as you really don't need to worry too much about walls except the very outsides then jumps can help you get 2 stars nicely vs whatever crazy layout you find. I've also liked using more than 1 pekka, but do not usually find that sustainable in terms of exlier out vs elixer in.

Anyway, the key to good GoWiPe is lining up the key defenses (CC, AQ, BK) in relation to the TH, then executing your lure (if used) and spells and hero abilities well. Practice helps a lot, in terms of quickly formulating a plan then executing it on the fly - GoWiPe is generally best when you dump your troops down as quickly as possible, to prevent your heroes from wandering off by themselves, whereas many GoWiWi users are more measured (or if they do dump everything down, it can easily go wrong or get the TH but nowhere near 50%).

I think half your problem is your attitude. Reverse lures are helpful..

If by reserve lures you mean not luring so the CC troops lead you to th - yes they are helpful if i take a lightning spell and if the cc is made of troops which my lightning spell can kill. If you mean the way I spoke I had just lost 19 cups doing everything "right" so yes I was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Thanks for the reply. I am indeed curious to try double jump out with 4 golems. It looks easy but most replays I've seen they use max heroes. Not sure the max heroes are the key (lol) but will try go wipe first.

Also, 16 was counts for some traps killing wbs and eventually luring with them if i can't with hogs. Will have to try using less.

Yes that's what I meant by reverse lures. Golems are all about driving attention away from everything else. Pekkas and your wiz should have no problem taking care of those cc troops. You rarely find anything too threatening.
